Angelina Jolie In Elie Saab Couture – Oscars 2014

Angelina Jolie is not one to disappoint on the red carpet and the 2014 Oscars (March 2) were no exception.

The ‘Maleficent’ actress embraced the metallic trend in a beaded gown from Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture paired with shoes by Ferragamo.

Angie has been all about black Saint Laurent lately – notably her amazing tuxedo at the BAFTAs – so this elaborately embellished couture piece came as a bit of surprise albeit a pleasant one.

Unsurprisingly she looks gorgeous and glamorous and the illusion through the chest and sleeves is sexy yet subtle. And you can never go wrong with Brad Pitt as an accessory.

Sadly, she didn’t seem to put much thought into the hair and make-up, which could have taken the whole look to another level.
