Janelle Monae In Fausto Puglisi – Variety Breakthrough of the Year Awards

Janelle Monae took to the red carpet for the Variety Breakthrough of the Year Awards during the 2014 International CES at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino on Thursday (January 9) in Las Vegas, Nevada prior to her performance.

The singer broke her strict black-and-white dress code, wearing a Fausto Puglisi Fall 2013 tartan biker jacket featuring leather sleeves with gold embellished detailing – a signature of this collection.

For someone with such impeccable style, this look falls surprisingly flat. I think it’s the white jodhpurs which are killing the look for me.
