Get The Look: Nicole Richie’s Golden American Music Awards Makeup

For Nicole Richie’s glam appearance at the American Music Awards, Avon Global Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Andersen gave her a sultry, golden smokey eye to compliment her white Emilio Pucci gown.

To get the look, first, Lauren used YSL Touche Eclat Foundation all over Nicole’s skin. She contoured her cheeks with Lorac TANtalizer Baked bronzer.

On Nicole’s brows, Lauren used Votre Vu Arche de Triumphe Brow Definer to give them a bit more definition.

To get the glam eyes, Lauren used Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Metal Eyes, sweeping the gold shade (number 2) over the lid and using the dark grey (number 4) to define the outer corner of both the upper and lower lashline and create the wing.

Next, Lauren lined the upper and lower lids with Avon Kohl Eye Liner in True Black, and finished the eyes with Avon Mega Effects Mascara to provide va-va-voom lashes.

A simple, subtle lip was created with Avon Ultra Color Lipstick in Naturally Nude.

The result? A glowing, gilded effect that was perfect for the occasion–and would be great to try at home for upcoming holiday parties.
