Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear round up 12 nov
Here, a look at the men who made an impression at a round of red carpets yesterday, from New York to Los Angeles and London.

Idris Elba: At the ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ Los Angeles premiere at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome, the actor struck a handsome profile in a navy-blue Burberry suit with contrasting charcoal-grey tie. It was a suave and sophisticated style move, and another welcome reprieve from the traditional black suit.

Ewan McGregor: The Scottish actor showed up to the British Independent Film Awards announcement event at St. Martin’s Lane Hotel in London, where he kept his look rather basic. His tie-less, all-black ensemble trended on the more casual side, with a blazer, T-shirt and trousers. The red cuffs made the statement here.

Orlando Bloom: In the midst of plenty of modish mavens, Orlando Bloom held his own at the CFDA and Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists event at New York City’s Spring Studios. Taking a more formal route, he dressed up in a Dior Homme navy wool micro-check, two-button notch-lapel suit, paired with a white cotton cut-away collar button-down shirt and brown suede Montaigne boots.
