Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Many more stars sashayed into the it-list lineup at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala, hosted on Thursday at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills, California, all donning the designer of the evening, Salvatore Ferragamo.

Camilla Belle: The actress complemented her bronzed glow with a plunging, tiered gown with a crisscross back in an arresting shade of blush-nude. Diamond jewels, a golden clutch and a severely slicked-back ‘do completed her ensemble.

Abbie Cornish: Opting for a glam, cerulean-blue dress, accented with a jewel brooch at the halter neckline and a studded belt, the Aussie star kept her accessories on the simple side with a basic box clutch, a dainty earring, and sideswept retro waves.

Freida Pinto: Also working a blushing nude hue, Freida glittered in her embellished halter confection. To highlight the T-back detail of the dress, she piled her dark locks into an updo and kept her jewels to a minimum. After all, the dress had enough dazzle.

Demi Moore: The actress also maintained the sparkling theme with her deep, midnight-blue sequin gown, although the crisscross halter neckline may have been better shown off with an updo.

Evangeline Lilly: Flaunting her cropped, ombre bob, the ‘Hobbit’ actress also took a rock-star turn in a shiny, red Moschino suit that was slightly OTT, if only because of the sheen. Her black Barbara Bui handbag seemed a bit oversized for the occasion.

Karolina Kurkova: The statuesque supermodel strutted out a leggy, metallic chainmail-inspired cocktail dress with zipper detail. Black ankle-wrap heels with a plasticized look were her main statement accessory, as there was no sign of any jewelry and she kept her beauty approach rather minimal.

Demi and Freida are the only ones I like.

I like all looks here, actually. The only thing that bothers me is Karolina’s shoes.

      Exactly my thoughts too.

Camilla and Freida way out in front. Immaculate beauties, both! Abbie does, indeed, look top heavy-not flattering. Demi looks nice, if not outstanding. Evangeline looks really off to me. Karolina is working the dress, but the shoes basically cancel that fact out.

    Freida for me.

      Same here.

Love Camilla’s gorgeous look. She looks stunning. Freida is my second favourite.

+1 I’ve missed Camilla on the RC.

I really dislike Abbie’s dress bc it makes her look so top heavy and not in a flattering way.

They all look good. Especially Camilla and Abby

  8. Avika October 18, 2013 at 5:13 pm #

I think Abbie wore this dress before…

I like Evangeline Lilly’s look best because it is different and she carries it off really well–she stands out in this crowd.

I agree, she’s definitely my favorite of this bunch. Her entire look is so unique and I love her hair. Everything about this look is sizzling.

Instead I really like Karolina’s look because is different, edgy and unexpected in comparison with the others. And she has the right body to sell it.

    I like Camilla’s and Freida’s looks.
    Demi is not bad also.
Evangeline is unrecognizable, but I kinda like it.
I dislike Abbie’s and Karolina’s looks, perhaps for different reasons but they stand out as the worst one here.

I don’t dislike it but I am trying very hard to figure out what’s going on with her shoes…
To me nothing stands out here.

^^^ That meant to be a reply to Kane but anyway XD

The one thing that stands out of this post for me? How much I dislike Karolina’s look. She’s so spot on so often, but this is a complete, h2t miss for me.
