September 23, 2013 Runway To Red Carpet

Alyson Hannigan In Marchesa – 2013 Emmy Awards

Alyson Hannigan

Alyson Hannigan took a statuesque turn on the red carpet at the 2013 Emmy Awards.

The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star wore a Marchesa Resort 2014 gown, with Jay Carlile & Company jewelry and a Marchesa clutch.

While I think this deep purple hue is a lovely contrast with Alyson’s auburn hair, I can’t help but wish she had taken a risk and opted for the floral runway version of the striking gown.

A deep side part and loose waves are the perfect accent to the elegant look.

That was earlier this year, actually, at the Golden Globes.

I would’ve loved the print version too, but I bet lots of people would’ve cried curtain or sofa pattern…like they did with Lucy Liu’s stunning floral print dress a couple years (last year?) ago.

Still, I think she looks fantastic.

I love the print too, but I think we’re a little too far into fall for such a springy look. The purple made much more sense. But it does fail to make a major impression.

she looks pretty but yeah the lookbook version is major

The lookbook version would’ve definitely looked much better and far more interesting. Alyson’s version does look nice on her, but it’s nothing new.

I’m in a different boat, will it is a gorgeous print, I am not sure how well the print would have worked on Alyson. I think she looks great and very statuesque.

I think this look is boring and I’m not sure how it ended up on the Best Dressed list.

I swear if I see another prom look on a grown woman tonight, I will scream. The count must be close to 15 by now.

I love the color and fabric, but the silhouette…Carrie Underwood did it better.

I might have died if she wore the floral version!
