Aside from Naomi Campbell and Sarah Jessica Parker, a host of stars did wear L’Wren Scott frocks to the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party, which the designer hosted in Hyde Park, London yesterday evening.
Princess Beatrice: The princess looked chic wearing a L’Wren Scott blue lace dress with a scoop neckline, scalloped hem and interesting pleats at the cuffs. Her dazzling accessories included a blue embellished clutch and crystallized pumps.
Joanne Froggatt: The ‘Downton Abbey’ star is known for her love of colour, but on this rare occasion she selected a black L’Wren Scott frock. The embroidered mini was styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Lagoula’ sandals and a studded Christian Louboutin ‘Paris’ bag to prevent this look from being too forgettable.
Alice Eve: Now this is more like it. Alice clearly read her invite for this summer party. The actress wore a L’Wren Scott Spring 2013 white-and-gold sequin frock, styled with gold pumps and a cream oversized clutch with a gold bow accent.
Pixie Geldof: You can always rely on Pixie to add some fun to a red carpet. She donned an Ashley Williams ‘Subscribe’ motif dress styled with red-and-black bow accented pumps and a Dolce & Gabbana animal print bag.
Hayley Atwell: Wearing a nude-and-black lace L’Wren Scott halter dress, I’m delighted she added pops of pink via her lips and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps to add some interest to her look. Further accessories including a Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch and drop earrings.
Daisy Lowe: I love Daisy, but this L’Wren Scott shimmering lame gown, wouldn’t have been my first, second, or even twentieth choice.
L’Wren Scott: The designer stood head and shoulders above everyone else wearing a gold sequined gown from her own Fall 2013 collection, which she styled with matching accessories including a gold headband.
Kate Moss: The model, who always seems to be wearing something sheer on the red carpet, covered up her Alessandra Rich Fall 2013 dress with a Saint Laurent black tuxedo jacket.
Eva Herzigova: The model selected a sombre black lace long-sleeved L’Wren Scott dress, which doesn’t scream summer party to me. Her look was completed with Jimmy Choo ‘Famye’ sandals.
