Last night the British Fashion Awards was sponsored by luxury jewelry brand Swarovski. Where two lovely ladies dazzled on the red carpet courtesy of Swarovski.

Victoria Secret’s Angel Isabeli Fontana wore a bespoke dress by Swarovski Collective designer and Red Carpet nominee Mary Katrantzou.

The hand-embellished dress featuring delicate Swarovski crystals which was matched by her smouldering beauty.

British actress Naomie Harris wore a bespoke dress by Swarovski Collective designer and New Establishment nominee Peter Pilotto. The pink rainbow dress was made of swiss lace with Perspex embellishment and Swarovski crystals.

As Rachel said in the previous post, this was powerhouse statement from a distance, but even more mesmerizing close up.

Models @ The 2014 British Fashion Awards

Models @ The 2014 2014 British Fashion Awards

A host of models held court at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, where the runway stunners took to the red carpet at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

Daisy Lowe: She may have been dressed in shades of blush-pink, but there was a sexy side to all that sweetness with her Antonio Berardi asymmetrical, figure-hugging gown that was slit to her hip. A heart-embellished clutch by Charlotte Olympia finished the look on a lighthearted note.

Suki Waterhouse: From shades of pink to shades of blue, the model subscribed to the sheer trend in a Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 tiered and pleated, navy ombre-inspired frock that was perhaps one shade too see-through. Gold metallic sandals provided a spirited contrast, but the baby-blue edged purse had no business here.

Joan Smalls: This Tom Ford scoop-neck LBD was sliced and diced with side cutouts and slits galore. She completed the skin-baring look with black Givenchy heels and a Rauwolf clutch.

Ashley Madekwe In Banana Republic – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Ashley Madekwe In Banana Republic - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Ashley Madekwe was also at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, held at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

Like Poppy Delevingne, the actress took a high-street approach in a custom, monochromatic three-piece ivory suit from Banana Republic.

Impeccably tailored, the menswear-inspired look has the distinction of being classically timeless yet completely current. I also love that she wore the blazer swung across her shoulders like a cape.

There’s power in the plunge, and this mannish ensemble doesn’t forget its sexier side with a deep V neckline and streamlined silhouette that commands attention. So, too, does that ruby red lip.

Très chic.

Laura Carmichael In Christopher Kane – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Laura Carmichael In Christopher Kane - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Laura Carmichael attended the 2014 British Fashion Awards at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

The English actress selected a dress from London-based designer Christopher Kane’s Spring 2015 collection.

On paper, the frock has all the right pieces to create a successful look—a vibrant lavender-blue colour, structure and sass, and interesting design detailing courtesy of the controlled explosion of tulle.

But, sadly, none of the pieces translated on the red carpet, once removed from the runway.

In fact, the effect was rather unflattering and dated. Accessories did nothing to remedy the look’s shortcomings, as the shoes were too matchy-matchy and the oversized beige clutch didn’t match at all.

Bee Shaffer In Alexander McQueen & Anna Wintour In John Galliano for Maison Martin Margiela

Bee Shaffer In Alexander McQueen & Anna Wintour In John Galliano for Maison Martin Margiela

Bee Shaffer and Anna Wintour were every bit the voguish mother-daughter duo on the red carpet of the 2014 British Fashion Awards, hosted on Monday (December 1) at the London Coliseum in London, England.

Bee Shaffer: She paid homage to the label that won the evening’s Red Carpet Designer nod with her Alexander McQueen Spring 2015 metallic gold frock. Featuring a harness-inspired bodice and A-line skirt, the dress meshed its Midas touch with a power-warrior spirit and feminine edge, especially when styled with that super-sleek ponytail.

Anna Wintour: Coordinating but not matching her daughter, Anna donned a John Galliano for Maison Martin Margiela floor-length, printed black gown and furry ivory shrug as she picked up the Outstanding Achievement Award from the designer himself.

Perhaps both sets of sandals could have been improved upon, but I’ll focus on the ankles up. Like mother, like daughter?
