Li Yuchun In Givenchy Couture - ‘All Is Lost’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Li Yuchun attended the ‘All Is Lost’ Cannes Film Festival premiere held at the Palais des Festivals in France in this evening, giving us a third look at her red carpet style.

So the tulle ballgown never materialized; instead she worked a Givenchy Fall 2012 Couture look featuring a degrade gold-to-black fringed top with sparkling pants and thonged midi heels.

It another amazing look. She totally owns it, without it wearing her.

Li Yuchun is a big star in China, we can tell by the comments on her previous looks.

We’ve heard how great she is, so what do you think about tonight’s Givenchy outfit?

Araya A Hargate In Salvatore Ferragamo - 'All Is Lost' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Araya A. Hargate failed to excite most of you yesterday with her fairy-tale interpretation of a Disney Princess in Zac Posen, however, she has a second chance to impress this evening.

She attended the ‘All Is Lost’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere held at the Palais des Festivals in France wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2012 gown.

The slate-grey fully beaded fringe halter gown with jewel accents was thankfully not styled with any unnecessary jewelery.

During Cannes we expect OTT jewelery due to the nature of the event and heavy sponsorship, but any jewels other than the small studded Boucheron earrings and silver Boucheron ring she possessed would’ve been overkill.

Silver Ferragamo sandals, kohl-rimmed eyes and a slick back hair ‘do completed her look.

Fan Bingbing In Chris by Christopher Bu - 'Emperor' Cannes Film Festival Press Junket

Fan Bingbing attended the ‘Emperor’ press junket with Jackie Chan during the Cannes Film Festival at Torch at Vegaluna Beach Club in France last week.

The actress used the occasion to showcase the Chris by Christopher Bu Spring 2013 collection. A first for her stylist/designer Bu Kewen.

He has taken Fan from a then little-known actress at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival to propelling Fan to Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed List in 2012, plus he styled her three looks on Oscar night this year.
It was after the Oscars that Bu launched his first women’s collection, named ‘From London with Love’.

For someone who co-designed Fan’s ‘Crane’ and ‘Dragon’ gowns, this collection is infinitely more wearable, opting for a playful aesthetic with many colourful prints, stripes and delicate pastels.

Fan selected a checked look featuring a yellow-and-white blouse with a high-waist black-and-white skirt, to which she added those can’t-live-without Giuseppe Zanotti platform peep-toes.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Giambattista Valli - 'Only God Forgives' Cannes Film Fesitval Photocall

Kristin Scott Thomas was the first to hit the Palais des Festivals this morning for the ‘Only God Forgives’ photocall during Cannes Film Festival in France.

Opting for a ladylike look with plenty of Parisian flare, the British-French actress wore a Giambattista Valli summery look.

Opting for a pale-pink belted frock, the actress made an elegant first impression on this festival, styling her look with a multi-floral collarless blazer, gold hooped earrings and metallic pumps.

I have a feeling Kristin will also opt for a French brand for this evening’s premiere.

Cannes Mens Tuesday

Tuesday premieres during Cannes Film Festival included ‘Cleopatra’ and ‘Behind the Candelabra’, making way for appearances from some actors we haven’t seen in a while and others who have solid red carpet résumés.

Chris Tucker: For the premiere of ‘Cleopatra’ on Tuesday, Chris wore an unbuttoned white dinner jacket similar to the one he wore to the Independent Spirit Awards in February. It’s no secret he’s partial to overly wide lapels, so it was no surprise to see large shawl lapels. He paired the jacket with black pants that could have been slimmed down a bit, a white shirt, and a black bow tie. I love how he selected a jacket to complement his lovely plus one, Azja Pryor.

Adrien Brody: Along with his beautiful date Lara Lieto, Adrien arrived to the ‘Cleopatra’ premiere in a suave black notch-lapel Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. It fit well, like most suits Adrien wears, and he even added a black-faced Bulgari watch to accent the tux. He finished the look off with a white shirt and black bow tie.

Christoph Waltz: Christoph donned a well-cut black Prada tuxedo for the ‘Behind the Candelabra’ premiere. It fit in all the right places. The shawl lapels and bow tie gave it a little more class. The ease with which Christoph is able to pull off his tux made this my favourite look, just ahead of Adrien.

Best Dressed Of The Day 7

Today’s best dressed of the day in association with shoescribe.com are Jessica Chastain in Versace Collection and Sharon Stone in Roberto Cavalli.

Jessica inspired this Rupert Sanderson Latifa sandal selection because they are super feminine, with a sparkling detail which makes the look.

High on shine, colour and glamour, these Sergio Rossi patent platform shoes couldn’t be a more appropriately inspired selection for Sharon’s Roberto Cavalli gown.
