Zooey Deschanel In Monique Lhuillier - Glamour Cover Girl Party

Zooey Deschanel attended a dinner party hosted by Glamour editor-in-chief, Cindi Leive, in celebration of her Glamour February 2013 cover at RivaBella in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The ‘New Girl’ star wore a dress by Hollywood favourite, Monique Lhuillier.

Her teal lace Pre-Fall 2013 dress, which she of course teamed with tights, featured three-quarter-length sleeves and a gathered detail at the hip.

Opting for a quirk-free look, Zooey added a touch of colour via her manicure, opting for both black pumps and a black shoulder bag.

I would’ve preferred it if she had opted for something more adventurous, like red pumps, with this look.

Viola Davis In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 SAG AwardsViola Davis brought a shock of color to the red carpet at the 2013 SAG Awards, hosted this evening at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

Her Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 gown was a turquoise dream with its flattering, slightly Grecian draping and the asymmetric one-shoulder detail that flowed into a long train at the back.

The color looked gorgeous on the red carpet and on Viola, who continues to rock her bold cropped haircut.

Jimmy Choo sandals, a Judith Leiber clutch and Cathy Waterman jewels, including a turquoise cuff and complementary coral pendant earrings, finished the look.

The only thing I would have changed in the dress is the lining, which wasn’t visible on the runway. On Viola, it ended mid-thigh and proved a distracting addition, as it peeked through the diaphanous chiffon layers.

Ashley Madekwe In Monique Lhuillier - The Entertainment Weekly Pre-SAG Party

Ashley Madekwe showcased that her street style is just a well put together as her red carpet style when she took to the red carpet at the Chateau Marmont in California last night, for Entertainment Weekly’s Pre-SAG Awards party.

The ‘Revenge’ star wore an uber cute Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 frock.

Her aqua threadwork organza structured dress with silver foil splash print, was styled with an ink-blue slim leather belt, black leather sandals and a silver clutch.

Wavy locks swept to one-side and a pretty pink lip colour completed her look.

This is one of my favourite look from Ashley. Even on SAGs weekend, I know I won’t forget this look.

Naya Rivera In Monique Lhuillier - The Entertainment Weekly Pre-SAG Party

Naya Rivera opted for something sleek and sexy on the red carpet at the Chateau Marmont in California, where she attended Entertainment Weekly’s Pre-SAG Awards bash last night.

The ‘Glee’ actress wore a Monique Lhuillier frock.

Naya selected an ink strapless leather dress from the designers Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which she styled with suede beige pumps, gold earrings and sleek tresses.

I’m continually impressed by Naya’s red carpet choices which are still daring, but well put together and have plenty of sass and sex appeal.

Bérénice Marlohe In Monique Lhuillier - Warner Bros

Bérénice Marlohe didn’t leave much to the imagination when she took to the red carpet at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party in LA on Sunday evening.

The French actress stunned, wearing a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 navy embroidered tulle illusion gown, which she styled with matching strappy sandals from the same collection and a silver Swarovski clutch.

Smouldering smoky eyes and side-swept wavy ombre tresses completed her uber-sexy look, which is much improved from her BAFTA tea-party look.

Julianne Hough In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Julianne Hough was in full princess mode with an edge at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards held in Beverly Hills on Sunday night.

The actress wore a Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2013 gown.

Her white tulle gown with gold sparkling embellishments featured a glittering illusion neckline and voluminous ruffled skirt.

With so much detail on the dress, I would have preferred the actress keep her hair and makeup simple, as to not overpower the look.

This rockabilly pompadour seems out of place with such a feminine dress.

Julianne explained to E! that she wanted to add a bit more edge via her Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and intricate earrings made out of an actual fossilized beetle.

Sometimes, less is more.
