Zoe Kazan In Miu Miu – 2018 SAG Awards

Zoe Kazan attended the 2018 SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 21).

The ‘The Big Sick’ actress and nominee wore a floral Miu Miu gown with blush pearl and diamond earrings for her turn down the red carpet.

I am almost taken off guard by how simple and conventional this gown is, considering Zoe’s penchant for the unique and extreme when it comes to her red carpet fashion choices.

The floral print is quite pretty, and the neckline beautifully accentuates her shoulders and posture.

A matte red lip and bronzed eye, plus her voluminous curls are lovely and apropos for the gown.

Samara Weaving In Miu Miu – 2018 SAG Awards

Samara Weaving attended the 2018 SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 21).

The ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ actress wore a striking Miu Miu gown with diamond jewelry.

I am completely smitten by this look. Barbie pink can be hard to wear, but Samara pulls it off flawlessly. But despite the bright color, the proportions of the gown are what is really show-stopping. The deep neckline, the capped sleeves, the wrapped bow and the open back are all exquisite and hit Samara exactly where they should and work together seamlessly to be a fashion work of art.

Are you as in love with this look as I am?

Margot Robbie In Miu Miu – 2018 SAG Awards

Fresh off her BDOTW nod for a fairytale-inspired look, Margot Robbie continued to explore a softer side at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in LA.

I am always intrigued by Margot’s edgier entrances, but I was just as captivated by the sweet innocence of this ballet-pink Miu Miu confection.

It had just the right amount of glint and whimsy in the studded embellishment and feathery waist to create a sweetness that didn’t come across as overly precious.

And, her au naturel beauty look echoed the delicate nature of the dress with that silver Jimmy Choo ‘Celeste’ clutch adding an exclamation point to the look.

If I were to nitpick, I would have hemmed the front of the gown just a smidge more, as it seemed to be a bit too floor-skimming.

Alison Sudol In Miu Miu – 2018 SAG Awards

Alison Sudol graced the red carpet at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles, California, alongside Kate Hudson and Alison Brie.

The ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ actress normally charms in flirty, retro styles.

I thought Miu Miu would have been a fitting choice for her yet this pleated gown has left me feeling a bit underwhelmed.

It lacks the presence needed for an event such as this — the muted colour is not speaking to me.

I’m also struggling with the proportions and fit of the bodice.

2018 Critics’ Choice Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Following the 2018 Golden Globes black dress code, the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) showcased a range of colours, styles and designers.

Reese Witherspoon: The actress’s most memorable looks often have bold colours, so I was surprised she opted for a black Prada dress. That being said, I thought the short length really worked for her, with the embellishment adding some vicariousness. The Roger Vivier shoes enhanced the playful mood.

Emma Roberts: Her choppy blonde fringe was certainly a talking point, but the elegant simplicity of her Giorgio Armani gown didn’t go unnoticed. The strapless column fit perfectly. She styled it in a very modern way with the gold-toned accessories and by leaving the neckline bare.

Emilia Clarke: Like Reese, the ‘Game of Thrones’ star opted for a shorter black dress. She wore a Dolce & Gabbana frock with Gianvito Rossi sandals. I would have loved to see the look completed with a red lip as it would have added some warmth while playing up the brand’s Italian film star aesthetic.

Sadie Sink In Miu Miu – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Sadie Sink was also in attendance at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘Stranger Things’ actress cut a sweet profile in her darling Miu Miu frock with its ankle-length, voluminous ball skirt.

I love that she wore a black ribbon to tie her ponytail, echoing the velvet one at her waist.

As the dress was devoid of embellishment, her Miu Miu shoes plus a range of Chopard jewels offered plenty of sparkle.

I do believe the young starlet could have gotten away with a few less jewels, as they seemed a bit mature for her. But, I can only imagine she is having such fun wearing them tonight.
