Lindsay Lohan Wore Miu Miu To The ‘Freakier Friday’ LA Premiere

Lindsay Lohan stepped onto the red carpet for the Freakier Friday premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in LA, giving us a look that felt more storybook than expected—and honestly, it couldn’t have been more fitting.

While some may have expected a contemporary slant—given her past love for structured silhouettes from Balenciaga and Balmain—Lindsay swerved in a much more whimsical direction, embracing the Disney of it all in a custom petal pink Miu Miu gown showered in crystals. It was sugary, sparkly and, most importantly, unapologetically playful.

The sparkle continued with a dazzling Lorraine Schwartz necklace and matching earrings, which brought a rich, old-Hollywood elegance to the look. And while I’m not entirely sure what the custom Judith Leiber microphone clutch was referencing, it added a whimsical detail that tied in beautifully with the playful spirit of the evening.

Update: Thanks to everyone who pointed out that the microphone clutch is a nod to Lindsay’s role as a singer in the film. She’s part of the band Pink Slip, and the movie will even feature a brand-new song from her.

With her blonde hair swept over one shoulder, it was giving classic Disney heroine—somewhere between Aurora and a pop star in a rebooted fairytale.
