Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 BAFTAs

Jennifer Lawrence was of course in Dior Couture for the 2018 BAFTAs in London this evening (February 18).

The union has had its ups and downs, but things have been nothing but plain sailing in recent times.

This was perfectly demonstrated by her Spring 2018 Couture black tuxedo gown featuring pale-pink stole sleeves embroidered with organza flowers.

On one had the look is classically timeless, yet on the other, it possesses contemporary vision.

I’m in total awe.

Kate Mara In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 BAFTAs

Kate Mara left us well and truly baffled by her red carpet choice for the pre-party, so I’m delighted to see her redeem herself for the 2018 BAFTAs in London this evening (February 18).

Lining the bodice with the same hue as the skirt to ensure the look felt more cohesive was the right thing to do for this Christian Dior Fall 2017 Couture gown.

One could say that this is the true definition of “doing a 180”, as her gold jewels and Dior clutch perfectly complemented the gown enhancing the richness of it all.

If I wanted to find something to nitpick, I would say that I wish her hair had a bit more life to it. A chignon or a updo would’ve been preferred.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 BAFTAs

Ever the regal lady, Kristin Scott Thomas stepped out at the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) in London, England, alongside Naomie Harris, Haley Bennett and Angelina Jolie.

The star, who is nominated in the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category for her work in ‘Darkest Hour,’ was a vision in a Christian Dior Spring 2018 Couture ensemble.

The flowing style demonstrated the impact of a pared-back colour palette, with the slashes of white creating a flattering lengthening effect.

The vertical stripes also drew our attention to her face.

She completed the look with a Time’s Up pin affixed to her chest.

Emilia Schuele In Christian Dior – ‘Isle of Dogs’ Berlinale International Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Emilia Schuele joined Greta Gerwig for the ‘Isle of Dogs’ premiere which served as the opening ceremony for the 68th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany this evening (February 15).

She looked beautiful wearing a rust hued Christian Dior Resort 2018 bustier dress, which showcased modern romance.

Yes, there is a strong case of déjà vu here, but that boils down to this signature style having been worn in several guises since this collection was first presented, and the fact that this dress has already been worn by Juno Temple.

Is it time for Dior to shelved the Resort 2018 collection?

Sienna Miller In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 amfAR Gala New York

Sienna Miller returned to the red carpet for the 2018 amfAR Gala New York on Wednesday (February 7).

The actress wore a fresh-off-the-runway Dior Spring 2018 Couture radiating jacquard gown with old-gold embroidery which is a beauty all of its own, but I was majorly distracted by the hair.

Just like Sarah Jessica Parker, the English actress opted to debut bangs this week.

I think I would’ve been able to get past the hair had it not been for the black hair band, but I believe the inclusion of the hair band was to mimic the black / gold of her dress.

Dior & Sasha Pivovarova Celebrate The Launch Of The Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

Dior and Sasha Pivovarova celebrated the launch of the label’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection at Milk Garage in New York City on Tuesday (February 6). Naturally, a host of Dior dazzlers were all in attendance, each donning a look from the Spring 2018 collection.

Sasha Pivovarova: As the host, the Russian model was suitably shining brightly in a Dior silver mirror tulle-embroidered short jumpsuit overlaid by a matching mirrored evening skirt. Together with her platinum locks, I love the edgy-modern ice-princess connotations of the look that was completed by Dior ‘Naughtily D’ boots and a Dior ‘Addict’ bag. Even the ubiquitous ‘CD’ straps seemed fresh with their tonal coloration.

Margaret Qualley: Rocking a different breed of whimsy, Margaret donned a Dior yellow allover sequin dress with ‘Positive’ embroidery. Diorboots and a Dior ‘Addict’ bag finished out the youthful, feisty outing that reflected the socially conscious statements that designer Maria Grazia Chiuri has celebrated.

Olivia Culpo: With a boho, prairie girl aesthetic—with a side of mod makeup—Olivia donned a sheer Dior black silk long dress with lace inserts styled with a Dior hat, Dior necklaces, Dior earrings, Dior shoes and a sparkling ‘Le Coeur de Dior’ heart bag. I’m sure some may be fussed about the logo briefs underneath.
