Olga Kurylenko In Christian Dior - 'Oblivion' Toyko Premiere

Olga Kurylenko attended the ‘Oblivion’ Toyko premiere at Roppongi Hills in Japan on Wednesday evening following the photocall the previous day.

The Ukrainian-born actress is doing a very good job of stealing my affections away from Kerry Washington’s ‘Django Unchained’ promo tour with yet another splendid look.

Dressed in a gorgeous striped Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2013 strapless gown, the actress has never looked more beautiful.

She has really come into her own during this promo tour and the longer it goes on the better she gets – so at this point I don’t want it to end.

A glossy pink lip colour and gold earrings with a star accent completed her BDOTW-worthy look.

‘Oblivion’ will open on May 31 in Japan.

Leelee Sobieski In Christian Dior Couture - 2013 Met Gala

Leelee Sobieski continued to show her allegiance to Raf Simons by donning a Christian Dior Couture look on the red carpet on Monday evening for the 2013 Met Gala in New York City.

The indie actress wore an unusual look consisting of a white strapless bustier gown with a black t-shirt featuring long sheer sleeves with gold embroidered gloves.

I would be lying if I said I loved the look, as it is not to my personal tastes, however, Leelee makes it work. Mostly by keeping things simple and also being the fashion risk-taker that she is.

Signature slick back locks, and a red pout completed her look.

The only other person I can see making this work is of course Tilda Swinton.

Love or loathe?

Ashley Olsen In vintage Dior & Mary-Kate Olsen In vintage Chanel - 2013 Met Gala

Don’t be surprised that the Olsen twins opted to go vintage and oversized at the 2013 Met Gala on Monday evening; after all, this is their red carpet M.O.

Ashley Olsen: The designer’s beaded orange Dior Couture dress with a sheer overlay is a beautiful design, but for some reason made me think of one of Andre Leon Tally’s capes.

Mary-Kate Olsen: This look was my least favourite of the two; her Chanel beaded, drop-waist black dress would’ve been so much better without the fur-trimmed robe.

Which Olsen look works better for you?

Ashley? Mary-Kate? Or none-of-the-above?

One wonders if the words; belt, or waist-nipping mean anything to these girls.

Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior Couture - 2013 Met Gala

French beauty Marion Cotillard wore head to toe Christian Dior with Chopard jewels to the Met Gala.

Her asymmetrically hemmed Spring 2013 gown is a fun choice with its peek-a-boo yellow lining and monochromatic nudes, but it doesn’t feel quite right for the Met Ball. I’m thinking this would be much more appropriate at a slightly less formal event.

I do love that she paired these houndstooth ankle-strapped pumps with this dress–an unexpected combination, and a definite pop of punk–but it still doesn’t quite scream Met Ball to me.

Marion’s barely there makeup and 40s-inspired curls are the perfect compliment for this look, but I’m still feeling underwhelmed. Especially after seeing the other Dior-adorned star at tonight’s event.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior - 2013 Met Gala

Jennifer Lawrence looked like a vintage dream in Christian Dior on the Met Gala red carpet.

I honestly think the new face of Dior looks flawless top to bottom here, but it does make me chuckle just a little that she wore this to a punk-themed event.

The strapless, jewel-encrusted Dior gown is classically glamorous, and the black birdcage veil takes its elegance to another level.

Jennifer’s flawless porcelain skin, deep red lip and black-lined eyes are the perfect classic makeup for this timeless look.

What do you think?

Bee Shaffer In Christian Dior Couture - 2013 Met Gala

Anna Wintour’s daughter Bee Shaffer rocked a white gown from Christian Dior’s Spring 2013 collection on the red carpet of the Met Gala.

The Vogue progeny looked stunning in her perfectly-fitted gown, but definitely took cues from her mother in looking more Spring than punk.

Her black nails are perhaps her nod to the night’s theme, and I absolutely love the contrast of the dark mani against the light-coloured dress.

Fred Leighton earrings and rings are the final accent to a lovely look.
