Models @ 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Here is a roundup of the models who attended amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

Karolína Kurková: On this occasion, the model wore an Alexis Mabille Couture gown which was a cleverly reworked shirt dress. It’s all in the details.

Karlie Kloss: The model continued to impress on the red carpet, this time smouldering in Tom Ford.

‘Youth’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

youth cannes film festival premiere red carpet round up

Here is a roundup of the other attendees at the premiere of ‘Youth’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 20) in Cannes, France.

Chanel Iman: I’m not surprised that Chanel served up one of the few Cannes-worthy gowns from this group. The model is forever in Cannes mode with her love of pretty princess gowns. She’s clearly in her element here wearing Donna Karan Atelier – despite the long face.

Joan Smalls: The model made her first appearance on the red carpet at Cannes wearing an Alaïa white two-piece breezy look. While this is more Independent Spirit Awards than Cannes, I can’t deny how gorgeous she looks.

Britt Robertson In Christian Dior & Fausto Puglisi – ‘Tomorrowland: A World Beyond’ Valencia Photocall & Premiere

Britt Robertson In Christian Dior & Fausto Puglisi - 'Tomorrowland A World Beyond' Valencia Photocall & Premiere

Britt Robertson was back on the red carpet again for the Valencia photocall and premiere of ‘Tomorrowland: A World Beyond’ on Tuesday (May 19) at the L’Hemisferic in Valencia, Spain.

Photocall: Similar to yesterday’s London photocall, Britt wore a Christian Dior flared frock with plenty of chic, girly charm. I just wish her styling had followed suit, as the black patent pumps and strangely messy ponytail weren’t all that interesting.

Premiere: Far superior to her last premiere look, this Fausto Puglisi Fall 2015 mini-dress had all the classic chicness of an LBD enhanced with playful embellishment and a peek-a-boo side slit. She accessorized with Sophia Webster ‘Rosalind Crystal Black’ sandals, plus a red lip for drama.

On this occasion, Britt’s premiere look was the favoured of the two for its youthfully sleek edge.

Rihanna’s Dior Secret Garden Campaign

Inter_SG4_DP1_440x285_Without Txt

Christian Dior has released a first look at Rihanna’s Dior Secret Garden campaign, photographed by Steven Klein at the Palace of Versailles in France.

While this is the fourth instalment of the Secret Garden series, it is the first time a black woman has been the face of the house in its 69-year history.

Rihanna has always been a huge fan of Raf Simons often perched front row at Dior’s shows, plus she’s been spotted wearing his menswear collection on several occasions, so perhaps this shouldn’t have been a surprise.

While her first official outing as an ambassador in Dior wasn’t a huge success, this campaign appears to have successfully shaken up the image of the brand bringing a touch of rebellious spirit.

Britt Robertson attended the ‘Tomorrowland: A World Beyond’ London photocall on Monday (May 18) at Claridge’s Hotel the day after the film’s premiere on Sunday (May 17), which was hosted at Odeon Leicester Square in London, England.

Premiere: Modified from the runway, this Christopher Kane Fall 2015 dress was done no favours by its shortened length and red sheen, which in effect created a costume. And, it goes without saying that the black pumps were all wrong.

Photocall: Much more successful was Britt’s photocall look that had a youthfully sophisticated charm with her Christian Dior printed dress and complementary Barbara Bui studded red shoes.
