Anne Hathaway In Armani Privé – ‘Colossal’ New York Premiere

Anne Hathaway made her first red carpet appearance in 2017 for her new film ‘Colossal’, which premiered in New York City on Monday (March 28).

The actress wore a vintage Armani Privé Spring 2006 gown featuring an embroidered pleated tulle and crinoline fan detail which might be a deal breaker for some, but I was blown away by the sculptural elegance.

This is Couture in its most finest form. Anne took a risk, and it definitely paid off. I would take this over a samey Maria Lucia Hohan gown any day.

The look was styled with an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and an elegant updo.

Like Emma Watson, Anne’s tour for ‘Colossal’ will be either sustainable, vintage or archival runway looks.

I’m hoping to see some pieces from the Pierre Balmain, Balenciaga, Valentino, Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior and Alexander McQueen.

Katy Perry In Jean Paul Gaultier & Emma Roberts In Armani Privé – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

On a night of what feels like a thousand dresses, you can forgive us for missing out one or two.

Here are the looks we shamefully missed from Katy Perry and Emma Roberts.

Katy Perry: The one thing you can’t predict is what style direction Katy is going to take, which makes her so fascinating to watch. On this occasion she went down the refreshingly grownup route donning a dynamic Jean Paul Gautier bronze gown that despite its many interesting elements didn’t feel overworked. Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels plus a Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’clutch and sandals in a deeper shade of bronze completed one of her best looks to date. Beyond stunning.

Emma Roberts: Donning her second Armani Privé gown of the night, Miss Roberts went into Mr. Armani’s archives selecting a gorgeous nude and pale green gown which hails from the designers second Armani Privé collection. At first I thought this was a printed dress but on closer inspection the dress is actually encrusted with crystals. I can only imagine how breath-taking it was in person.

Zoe Kravitz In Armani Privé – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Zoe Kravitz perfectly blended new and old Hollywood glamour at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (February 26).

The actress wore a black evening gown from the Armani Privé Spring 2015 collection which exemplifies the exquisite quality of couture.

Expertly tailored and presenting a dark and mysterious tone, this look was perfectly in step with her signature style, even though its not from one of her usual choice of designers.

Her hair proved to be one of the more interesting beauty looks of the night, and features a mix of platinum blonde braids and curls that feels both modern and classic.

Isabelle Huppert In Armani Privé – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Isabelle Huppert was sultry in red at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (February 26).

The Oscar nominated French actress brought some peekaboo action to her custom Armani Privé gown, that feels both coquettish and
alluring.

Like her dress for the awards ceremony, Isabelle looked effortless and elegant styling the look with Repossi jewels.

The sheer look at times can feel ubiquitous, but when it’s done this well, it’s given new life.

Nicole Kidman In Armani Privé – 2017 Oscars

Nicole Kidman walked the red carpet of the 2017 Oscars on Sunday night (February 26).

The star wore a custom Armani Privé Spring 2017 Couture gown with stunning Harry Winston diamond and ruby jewelry plus a vintage OMEGA timepiece.

Nicole looks as gorgeous as she ever has, and quite frankly, the photos don’t even do her justice. Her radiance and statuesque grace were breathtaking live, and this lovely nude column gown with the intricate beading detailing was superb.

Her perfect skin, purposefully undone coif and striking red lip complete the look that screams “A-lister”.

Viola Davis In Armani Privé – 2017 Oscars

Viola Davis was the ultimate lady in red at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

Rocking a fresh new ’do, the actress wore a custom Armani Privé gown.

Bold colour has always worked for Viola, and this look was no different.

The crimson hue is breath-taking against her skin. Factor in the elegant halter neckline and draped shoulder detail and I am locked in heaven.

One of the best of the night and one for her hall of fame.

The selection of the shiny silver clutch against the gold jewels didn’t go so well, but everything else is perfection.
