Laura Dern Wore Armani Privé To The ‘Jay Kelly’ Venice Film Festival Premiere
Laura Dern was back on the red carpet for the Jay Kelly Venice Film Festival premiere on Thursday evening.

She wore an Armani Privé Fall 2025 strapless gown, its fluid silhouette shimmering with delicate black crystals that lent the green satin a textured, almost holographic depth.
I’m especially glad she kept the dramatic black mesh capelet-like overlay, crafted from structured rows of glossy black beads to create a striking gridded, cage-like effect. It amplified the couture flourish without overwhelming the dress itself.
While I was initially excited to see where Laura’s style might go now that she’s working with Elizabeth Stewart, my issue with this look remains the same as it always has: the glam.
The gown feels luxurious, but the hair dampens the overall impact. It just doesn’t quite match the sophistication of the dress — almost as if the hair and gown were heading to two entirely different events. With a sleeker finish, Laura could have fully sold this Armani Privé moment to me.
Stylist: Elizabeth Stewart.
