Olivia Palermo In Burberry Prorsum – Chadstone ‘Icons of Style’ Launch

Olivia Palermo In Burberry Prorsum - Chadstone 'Icons of Style' Launch

Olivia Palermo is in Melbourne, Australia fulfilling her ambassadorial role for Chadstone’s Icons Of Style campaign, where she is set to share her style secrets during her trip Down Under.

While headed to the launch event she was spotted look oh-so-very chic wearing a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 ensemble which featured a long-sleeved hand-printed floral- and leaf-print ankle-length dress styled the same way as we saw it on the runway, with a graphic-print scarf belted around the waist.

The rest of her styling was her own, with a yellow statement clutch and Aquazzura shoes.

While the shoes are not from her Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo collaboration, you can buy the pieces exclusively from Net-A-Porter.com.

You may remember that Maggie Gyllenhaal wore this same dress sans scarf earlier this year.

Zoe Saldana In Preen – ‘Cantinflas’ LA Premiere

Zoe Saldana In Preen - 'Cantinflas' LA Premiere

Zoe Saldana attended the ‘Cantinflas’ LA premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (August 27) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a Preen Pre-Fall 2014 white pointy-collared dress with mixed floral and winged graphics adding a gothic element to the look.

Sadly, it’s not a look I find myself getting excited about. Mostly because it looks like she’s wearing a shirt and forgot her trousers; and secondly, even with the dramatic print the overall look feels very drab by her standards, even for a low-key premiere.

Jewels by Jamie Wolf and Dana Rebecca Designs, plus Christian Louboutin sandals completed her look.

Jennifer Lopez In Valentino – American Idol New Orleans Auditions

Jennifer Lopez In Valentino - American Idol New Orleans Auditions

Jennifer Lopez was joined at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on Wednesday (August 27) in New Orleans, Louisiana by her American Idol co-judges, Harry Connick Jr and Keith Urban, for the latest round of auditions.

After letting JLo loose on the red carpet at the VMAs, Jennifer Lopez served up a more demure look on this occasion… Well, demure by her standards.

The scalloped hemline of her Valentino preppy black and white dress is typically high, yet I can’t help but be enamoured by this ’60s-style frock which oozes feminine charm.

While the oversized black bow against the black insert draws my attention in, it also highlights the rather uninspiring shoe choice.

A slicked-back bun Jack Vartanian black quartz and diamond earrings, a Sutra ring and a Le Vian diamond bracelet rounded out her look.

Too twee, or you’ll take anything after her VMAs frock?

Jennifer Aniston In Saint Laurent – ‘Life Of Crime’ LA Premiere

Jennifer Aniston In Saint Laurent - 'Life Of Crime' LA Premiere

Jennifer Aniston attended the LA premiere of her latest movie, ‘Life Of Crime’, held at the ArcLight Cinemas on Wednesday (August 27) in Hollywood, California.

Switching gears slightly, she shelved her favoured LBD for a silver Saint Laurent sixties pop-influenced frock showered with tiny gold sequins.

While the dress is a slight sidestep out of her comfort zone, the styling isn’t: Rachel Green hair, subtle makeup, a cropped black Saint Laurent blazer toning down the sex appeal of the dress, and black strappy sandals.

The first thing to come to mind when I saw this frock was: baby on board. If this isn’t the case this dress isn’t very flattering.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini In Jason Wu – ‘The X Factor’ Press Launch

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini In Jason Wu - 'The X Factor Press Launch

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini continued her love for all things black and white while attending the press launch for the new series of ‘The X Factor’ held at Ham Yard Hotel on Wednesday (August 27) in London, England.

This Jason Wu sleeveless frock, which incorporates classic colours into a feminine form while also portraying sophisticated elegance in a monochrome style, is such a huge departure from her usual shorter, more playful style.

It wasn’t only her dress which got the dual-colour treatment: so did her Manolo Blahnik heels. Pops of red came via her lip and nails, with the finishing touch being her honey-coloured locks swept back into a low ponytail.
