Cinderella Moment Award
Amanda Seyfried gave us the princess moment we all hoped for on the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars tonight.

We had set visualized from the Armani Privé Spring 2010 collection for Anne Hathaway, but Amanda more than does this look justice.

The strapless Privé gown has a geometric bustier encrusted with Swarovski crystals which is fitted at the waist, but it’s that full skirt accented with the luminescent crystal effect which I really love.

Designer Loyalty Award
I think Mr Mo’Nique got my memo as he decided to hang back and allow his wife to shine as she walked the red carpet at the 2010 Oscar tonight.

The first time Oscar nominee opted for a pop of colour wearing an electric blue Tadashi Shoji Spring 2010 gown.

The “Precious” star nominated for Best Supporting Actress has stuck with Tadashi Shoji throughout most of Awards season, and it’s proving to be a great working relationship because she’s never looked better.

I love the jewel detail on the bodice.

Thank god it’s ankle length.

The only downside is that big flower in her hair. A tad OTT for my liking.

Best Dressed Award
OMG…we PRAYED that we would get to see this Givenchy Spring 2010 Couture gown at a big event, because a big gown needs a big stage.

Zoe Saldana SHUT IT DOWN in her Givenchy Couture gown.

I actually yelped with joy when I saw her on E! just now, and I’m not ashamed to admit that.

This would’ve been seen by many as a big risk, or hard to pull off, but Zoe does with ease.

I love the jeweled bodice and those ruffles on the purple ombre skirt.

Her hair and make-up are flawless and she wears a purple ring to complement her skirt.

I have a feeling picking a winner for Best Dressed is going to be very tough tonight. What a great start.

Back To Her Best Award
Anna Kendrick kicks off my 2010 Oscar coverage wearing my red carpet king, Elie Saab.

The best supporting actress nominee arrived glowing in a Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown, which she wears off-the-shoulder.

I adore this draped gown with a cap sleeve and delicate appliqué at the bust.

This collection had many thigh-high splits.

Anna’s is less revealing and is lined with feminine chantilly lace to finish off the romantic look.

After some uncharacteristic hiccups, the young actress picked a winner for the big night.

Her dress was paired with matching pink Sergio Rossi heels.

Malin Akerman was one of the many stars to walk the red carpet at the Montblanc charity cocktail party hosted By The Weinstein Company last night in LA.

She opted to wear this burgundy suede Loewe Spring 2010 mini dress with black panels on the side and a pleated skirt.

My first thought was “no…it makes Malin look really bottom heavy”.

But it started to grow on me very quickly.

I love the fun nature of this dress, it’s not a predictable choice and I love the Fall colour.

The only downside are the heels. The runway shoes would’ve been preferred.

We don’t see the Spanish brand that often on the red carpet, but Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller are fans.

Diamond Information Center Luncheon Honoring Carey Mulligan’s Academy Award Nomination

It’s been a very busy weekend for so many stars.

British actress Carey Mulligan attended the “Diamond Information Center Luncheon” which was held in her honour as Academy Award Nominee.

The star looked the most uncomfortable I’ve ever seen her on the red carpet wearing a yellow striped Bottega Veneta Spring 2010 dress.

I don’t like this on Carey. It dress feel more appropriate for a summer fete, plus it’s feel really inconsistent with looks we’ve previously seen from Carey.

This was definitely a stylish choice. I don’t believe Carey would choose this look as it’s way too girlie.

I can picture this on Paris Hilton. She loves a sunshine yellow.

Parmigiani And Raffone Luggage Host Sony Classics Dinner Party

This LBD by Gianfranco Ferre is more like it for Carey.

I’m also liking the smokey eye which I don’t think she’s sported before.

A Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton black suede clutch and strappy heels complete the look.

It looks like the “Chanel And Charles Finch’s Pre-Oscar Party celebrating Fashion And Film” in LA was the place to be last night, as our red carpet favourite’s Diane Kruger and Camilla Belle were looking fab in Chanel.

Camilla opted for a mini tweed sleeveless dress with embellished details from Chanel’s Spring 2010 collection.

I’m grateful to see this look without that cardigan, and I adore her Sergio Rossi heels.

They are really interesting as they have a gold heel detail we haven’t seen on this keyhole style before.

As always Camilla looks fresh, young, chic and Best Dressed of the week worthy.
