Poppy Delevingne In Alessandra Rich – Conde Nast Traveller 20th Anniversary Party

Poppy Delevingne attended the Conde Nast Traveller 20th anniversary party at Vogue House on Monday (October 9) in London.

You may be shocked to learn that I love Poppy in this Alessandra Rich Spring 2018 sheer lace dress with Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pumps.

When it comes to sheer dresses it’s all about presentation, so this is not even comparable to Ruth Wilson’s Dior look for me.

There is air of grace surrounding this look which successfully marries sensual drama with feminine glamour.

I know some will never be on board with this trend, so what are your thoughts?

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton – ‘Only The Brave’ LA Premiere

Jennifer Connelly was also in attendance at the ‘Only The Brave’ LA premiere on Sunday (October 8).

The Louis Vuitton ambassador donned a look fresh off the house’s Spring 2018 runway. Eschewing the traditional dress, she mixed a long light blue coat with soft layers of white.

The coat’s brocade pattern, understated shine and embroidery down the front ensured it was as captivating as any embellished gown.

Veering from the runway, she traded the sneakers for a chunky black sandal. I can see how she wanted to add some “weight” to the ensemble, but I would have preferred the shoe in a different colour that wouldn’t draw the attention away from the layering above.

Gina Rodriguez In Vivian Chan – L.A. Dance Project’s Annual Gala

Gina Rodriguez joined Natalie Portman at the L.A. Dance Project’s Annual Gala on Saturday (October 7).

Also opting for a darker dress, the ‘Jane the Virgin’ actress wore a navy blue Vivian Chan number.  The dress had a sophisticated play of sheer and opaque fabrics with a translucent turtleneck dress with long sleeves revealing a slinky slip underneath.

Blue is a shade that Gina has donned at a few different events and this ensemble proves why she loves it so much. Against her complexion, it is stunning.

Metallic accessories, including a faceted clutch and delicate sandals, complemented the rich blue frock.

Nina Dobrev In Zac Posen – ‘Only The Brave’ LA Premiere

Nina Dobrev recently cut her hair into a blunt bob with a thick fringe and it is really working with her elegant style.

The actress attended the ‘Only The Brave’ LA premiere on Sunday (October 8) and looked resplendent in a Zac Posen Fall 2017 dress. The strapless frock was emboldened by a striking mix of a dark flower print and contrasting hem.

Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Nola’ shoes coordinated with the fiery colours in the frock.

With her new hairstyle tied into a low ponytail, many might compare Nina to Audrey Hepburn thanks to her blunt bangs and ladylike flair. I see the reference, but also love the clear modern edge in the ensemble. I look forward to seeing what the actress will wear next.

A Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch completed the look.

Dree Hemingway In Burberry September Collection – Hamptons International Film Festival

To me, Dree Hemingway’s style presents a clear effortless vibe whether she is spotted on the streets or dressing up for a red carpet event. The model’s insouciant signature look was in full effect at the Hamptons International Film Festival on Friday (October 6).

Dree delighted in a mix-and-match look from the Burberry September Collection. The layered-look mint dress had a whimsical quality thanks to its embroidery, tulle, sheer panels and contrasting fabrics. Yet, she took it in another direction with striped chunky-knit socks and heels in Burberry’s signature vintage check.

The finishing touch was a neutral rucksack which made so much more of a statement than the expected clutch. Are you a fan of her styling?

Rebecca Hall In Dion Lee – 2017 New York Comic Con

Rebecca Hall’s recent red carpet appearances have delighted me and the admiration continued when she attended the 2017 New York Comic Con on Sunday (October 8).

The actress showed off her statuesque beauty at the ‘Professor Marston and the Wonder Women’ panel in a Dion Lee Resort 2018 dress. The navy number had a military feel thanks to the double-breasted cut and gold buttons.

However, the dress’s two slits and the sleeveless shape added a sultry touch to the tailored piece.

She chose to accessorise simply with pointed-toe nude heels with an ankle strap. I felt she could have pushed it a little more with the shoes, but I am still charmed by this ensemble. Thoughts?
