Emma Roberts In Camilla and Marc - Glamour Presentation of ‘These Girls’

Emma Roberts joined Dianna Agron on the red carpet last night for the Glamour presentation of ‘These Girls’ at Joe’s Pub in New York City on Monday evening.

With the weather being so gloomy in London, I forgot that it’s actually summer, so this Camilla and Marc ‘Adaptation’ dress from the Spring 2013 collection is perfect for the season.

I’m tempted to say that the bright-hued two-tone pink-and-white high neck dress with a wrap-style skirt should’ve been styled with a different pair of shoes than the black Kirkwood sandals Emma selected but, as the young actress rarely wears anything other than black pumps, I will give her a pass.

Would you have preferred a different-coloured shoe, or does this edgy shoe choice work for you as presented?

Naya Rivera In Donna Karan - ‘The Hangover Part III’ LA Premiere

Naya Rivera has been channelling her inner J-Lo a lot recently and her look at ‘The Hangover Part III’ LA premiere on Monday evening was no exception.

The ‘Glee’ actress donned a black bandeau top and a Donna Karan Resort 2013 black origami pencil skirt with sequin detailing to create one hot and spicy look.

If I had her abs, I would probably want to show them off too.

The reason why this look works for me and Diane Kruger’s didn’t is because the belly button is covered with her high-waist skirt. Any lower and this would’ve bordered on tacky.

Her flattering look was styled with a half-up, half-down part braided hairstyle and black pumps, which I barely noticed.

Dianna Agron In Valentino - Glamour Presentation of 'These Girls'

Dianna Agron attended Glamour presentation of ‘These Girls’ at Joe’s Pub in New York City on Monday evening.

The ‘Glee’ actress wore a head-to-toe Valentino look.

Her white dress with an A-line silhouette from the Spring 2013 collection features a nude lace bib with a reverse collar, slanted pockets, and puffed shoulders with dainty faux-button sleeves.

Snakeskin Valentino pumps and a gold studded Valentino clutch add an edge to her look, with a sleek updo adding a dainty finish to her typically ladylike look.

You may remember Kasia Smutniak wore this same dress in black earlier this year.

Jessica Alba In Fendi - Champion for Children Award Ceremony

Jessica Alba was the special guest at yesterday’s Champion For Children Award Ceremony, hosted in her honour at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich in Connecticut.

For her VIP appearance, the actress selected an LBD. Her wool mohair frock was from the Fendi Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

The dress’s striped, sheer-illusion effect added a lightness to the sleeveless, turtleneck design, which could have easily translated as overly heavy for the springtime.

A leather obi-style belt, which wasn’t originally seen in the lookbook version, added a nice punch of edge.

A refined updo, a flash of subdued jewellery, and a prim pair of black pumps finished off the elegant-chic—and event-appropriate—look.

Fan Bingbing In Valentino - The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo Honor Fan Bingbing

The Hollywood Reporter hosted a party along with Jimmy Choo and Mouton Cadet at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez in honour of the lovely Fan Bingbing on Saturday.

The star of the upcoming ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ was named International Artist of the Year.

Many of you will be delighted to see that she’s not wearing another Elie Saab embellished gown.

On this occasion she wore a Valentino Resort 2013 gown.

The colourful floral gown with an illusion yoke and sleeves is one of the gowns I had hoped to see on the red carpet, but with the Resort 2014 collection being presented I thought this gown would never see the light of day.

Bingbing continues her love affair with the braided updo, adding Chopard jewels to complete her look.

Brit Marling In Prabal Gurung - 'The East' New York Premiere

Brit Marling attended the New York premiere of her latest movie ‘The East’ held at Sunshine Landmark in New York City on Monday evening.

The blonde actress oozed ‘It’ girl coolness, wearing a Prabal Gurung Fall 2013 dress.

Her white silk-crepe draped-waist long-sleeved dress featured an asymmetrical satin hem and cut-out shoulder accented with gold studs.

The look is simple, yet there are many elements to it as described above.

She manages to pull it off; the effortless styling is the key. However, I would’ve preferred a different pair of shoes to the Valentino studded pumps she went for.
