Blake Lively In Antonio Berardi, Jenny Packham, Lindsey Thornburg, Valentino & Balmain – ‘The Age of Adaline’ New York Promo Tour Day 2

Blake Lively In Antonio Berardi, Jenny Packham, Lindsey Thornburg, Valentino & Balmain - 'The Age of Adaline' New York Promo Tour Day 2

Blake Lively was still promoting her new movie, ‘The Age of Adaline’ on Wednesday (April 22) with four more looks.

Look 1: Opting for Antonio Berardi again, the mix print one-shoulder sheath from the Fall 2015 collection, styled with Malone Souliers tri-colour pumps, piqued my interest, but the embellished Jenny Packham Fall 2013 coat doesn’t quite work for me. Sans coat this was one of her best of the week.

Look 2: Blake made a guest appearance on ABC’s ‘The Chew’. I simply adore this look. Not too fond of the fall-like hues she’s been championing this promo tour, this sweet and feminine Lindsey Thornburg floral summer-in-a-dress frock, styled with baby-blue pumps, is perfect from head to toe.

Look 3: For the Apple Store Soho Presents Tribeca Film Festival: ‘The Age Of Adaline’ Q & A event, Blake wore a Valentino patchwork Fall 2015 coat and dress. I would only save the shoes from this look. There is too much going on for my liking here, plus I really love Blake in bright, summery colours, like the Roksanda look from the day before. I have Dolly Parton’s ‘Coat of Many Colours’ playing on a loop in my head after seeing this look.

Look 4: Making a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with Seth Meyers’, Blake wore her second Balmain Fall 2015 look in so many days. I love the sparkling fringe skirt, but wish she’d made this look her own and broken up the runway look. The top feels so pedestrian for the disco-style skirt.

Zendaya Coleman In Michael Kors – Good Morning America

Zendaya Coleman In Michael Kors - Good Morning America

Zendaya Coleman made a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday (April 22) in New York City.

The actress donned a black and nutmeg Michael Kors wrap shirt and skirt from the Spring 2015 Collection, bringing heritage appeal to her chic, contemporary daytime look.

White pumps were the best option here, as black would’ve weighed down the look.

Harper by Harper’s Bazaar Launch Party

Harper by Harper's Bazaar Launch Party
The ‘harper by Harper’s BAZAAR’ launch party at Violet Grey with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on Tuesday (April 21) in Los Angeles, California celebrated the latest issue of the magazine geared to the young, stylish reader.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: As cover girl and guest editor of the latest magazine issue, Rosie played host in an Alessandra Rich Spring 2015 gown. Yet I cannot say this is what I would have expected the model to wear for the occasion. Firmly planted in the ’80s, the era which strongly inspired the designer’s spring collection, the Dynasty-esque dress does benefit from a more elegantly sleek, streamlined silhouette. And I’m glad she skipped the lookbook’s belt. I believe it’s the bow that gives me most pause. Yay or nay?

Kiernan Shipka: From the ’80s to a couple more decades back, the starlet was also in a retro mood with her red Valentino collared, mini frock. Simple and charming.

Jaimie Alexander: Taking a sexier route as she is sometimes wont to do, Jamie wore a Mugler Spring 2015 leggy ensemble with cutouts, styled with Tamara Mellon shoes and an updo.

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte – 2015 Morbid Anatomy Museum Gala

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte - 2015 Morbid Anatomy Museum Gala
Chloë Sevigny was back on the scene at the 2015 Morbid Anatomy Museum gala on Tuesday (April 21) in New York City.

Rather befitting to the event, the actress selected a Rodarte Spring 2015 dress styled with the same gladiator-inspired, webbed shoes seen on the runway.

Inspired by aquatic themes, the frock’s netted overlay and collection of trinket embroideries inspired a somewhat macabre mood, especially when styled with a gothic red lip and slicked-back hair.

The patchwork craftsiness of this design was never a favourite of mine, although marginal improvement could have come with Chloë’s styling, including the removal of the choker necklace and a less morose beauty approach.

That said, I suppose the look fits the bill for any event with ‘morbid anatomy’ in its name.

Rose Byrne In Altuzarra – ‘Adult Beginners’ New York Premiere

Rose Byrne In Altuzarra - 'Adult Beginners' New York Premiere
Rose Byrne attended the New York premiere of ‘Adult Beginners’ hosted by RADiUS with The Cinema Society and Brooks Brothers at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City on Tuesday (April 21).

Once again working the sheer trend after her latest outing at the Burberry event last week, Rose donned an Altuzarra Fall 2015 ensemble.

The delicate lace top was a romantic and seductive counterpoint to the slit wrap skirt that was belted with tassels.

There was something about the black balconette bra that translated as rather heavy underneath the diaphanous lace, but I did love the lighthearted, flirty touch of her pink lip and Malone Souliers ‘Savannah’ strappy black heels.

Teresa Palmer In Jonathan Saunders – Warner Bros. Presents The Big Picture

Jonathan Saunders Pre-Fall 2015

Teresa Palmer was present for the 2015 CinemaCon – Warner Bros. Presents The Big Picture event, held at Caesars Palace Resorts and Casino on Tuesday (April 21) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The new mum was looking better than ever, wearing a Jonathan Saunders pattern play Pre-Fall 2015 look incorporating stripes and florals.

While loving the colours and summery appeal of this look, I was unsure at first with regard to the peplum, but this look would’ve been a run-of-the-mill sheath dress without it.

I have to say, I have come around to those ankle cuff Stuart Weitzman ‘Showgirl’ sandals we first saw on Elizabeth Banks. Not only are they a refreshing sight to the ‘Nudist’ sandals or any pointy pump, but the colour couldn’t be more perfect for this look.
