Gabrielle Union-Wade In Naeem Khan – ‘A Night On The RunWade’ Fundraiser

Gabrielle Union-Wade attended A Night on the RunWade event in Chicago on Sunday (March 19), where husband Dwyane Wade’s favoured designer Dsquared² presented looks in a fashion show.

This Naeem Khan Spring 2017 gown was all about sleek seduction married with the vibrant glory of its big and bold floral blooms.

What I love is how Gabrielle rocked it with her own personal strength of style, lending a unique sense of power to the dress.

It was beautiful on her silhouette and only came alive more with her bright rose-red lip and edgy cropped bob.

Jessica Chastain In Prada – ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’ NYC Screening

Jessica Chastain attended a special screening of ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’ on Sunday (March 19) in New York City.

Managing the in-between season of winter and spring, she relied on the richness of the velvet trend in this Prada Fall 2016 dress.

While the mahogany-bronze hue was dark, the glistening embellishment helped bring a slight twinkle to the look.

The pumps may have had a holographic tint, but even so, these fell to the lacklustre side.

I love to see the actress in vivid hues, as she wears them so well. However,  this was still a refined if forgettable moment.

Joanne Froggatt In Temperley London – Three Empire Awards

Joanne Froggatt was another of the British beauties at the Three Empire awards on Sunday (March 19) in London, joining Laura Carmichael and Ella Purnell.

Sticking to a British designer, she donned a Temperley London Fall 2017 look featuring a sequin evening skirt with peek-a-boo sheer, knife-cut pleats.

I love the sleeker way she chose to wear the design with a plunge top replacing the oversized white button-down.

It had no shortage of modern edge.

Mandy Moore In Lela Rose – ‘This Is Us’ Panel On PaleyFest In LA

It was only a matter of time before Mandy Moore returned to her signature graceful style—and she did just that at the panel for ‘This Is Us’ at PaleyFest in LA on Saturday (March 18).

I don’t know about you, but I was completely charmed by this forest-green Lela Rose Fall 2017 ensemble that was the epitome of chic modernity.

The feminine, off-the-shoulder top with its pouf sleeves and black bow was beautifully balanced by the casual edge of structured, cropped trousers.

Her beauty look was on point, too, with the girly headband and glowingly fresh makeup echoing the sweet innocence of the outfit.

After a few more debatable looks, does this one land firmly in the ‘yes’ column for you?

Katy Perry In Rasario – The Human Rights Campaign Gala Dinner In LA

Katy Perry was at the Human Rights Campaign’s gala dinner on Saturday (March 18) in LA, where she accepted the HRC National Equality Award.

Despite her more rebellious, punk-rock ’do, the entertainer’s ensemble stayed mainly within the more sophisticated vein we’ve seen lately.

This Rasario Spring 2017 gown was a sleek option with a bolder nod to extravagance in the flurry of undulating black ruffles at the halter neckline.

Sets of coordinating diamond ear cuffs provided additional sparkle without getting in the way of those ruffles.

Allison Williams In Gabriela Hearst – Sun Valley Film Festival

Allison Williams was at the Sun Valley Film Festival ‘Rising Star Reception’ on Thursday (March 16) in Idaho.

The actress seems to be equally at home in hyper-feminine, graceful styles as well as more structured, menswear-inspired numbers.

Here, she opted for the latter, in a Gabriela Hearst Fall 2017 plaid suit.

When paired with a simple cream tank underneath, the ensemble with its long jacket and high-waist trousers had a chic nonchalance that boasted an undercurrent of interesting allure.

It’s a look you might imagine to be inspired by the all-American icon, actress Katharine Hepburn, who was known for her androgynous style.

Juliette Binoche In Haider Ackermann – ‘Ghost In The Shell’ Seoul Premiere

Juliette Binoche joined Scarlett Johansson for the premiere of ‘Ghost In The Shell’ on Thursday (March 17) in Seoul.

Here, her Haider Ackermann Spring 2017 look provided a striking juxtaposition of form between the tough, exacting edge of a shrunken leather jacket and the flowing fluidity of a long plisse skirt.

With a colour-block white panel added to the bright orange palette for a less leg-baring approach, it was graphically balanced by a black panel on the opposite side.

Her loose waves and naturally glowing makeup provided a graceful way to tone down the punk-forward edge with which the look was originally presented.
