Regina Hall In Tadashi Shoji – ‘Girls Trip’ LA Premiere

Regina Hall has showcased great style during her promo tour for ‘Girls Trip’, and that continued for the LA premiere on Thursday (July 13).

I’m sure many will be surprised to discover this is Tadashi Shoji.

Mostly because the designer rarely, if ever, flirts on the side of risqué, which this ocean blue voluminous crepe gown with a mandala embroidered bodice from the Spring 2017 collection more than suggests.

I saw the bold colour first, followed by how radiant Regina is here.

Yes, on the wrong person this may have come across less than favourable; luckily, Regina was the right person.

Jada Pinkett Smith In Prabal Gurung – ‘Girls Trip’ LA Premiere

Jada Pinkett Smith attended the premiere of ‘Girls Trip’ on Thursday (July 13) in LA.

Known for her bold style, the actress wore a citron Prabal Gurung Spring 2017 look which some might consider tame by her standards, but I’m totally captivated by this gown-trouser combo.

On the one hand it’s very glamorous, and on the other it still shows her fun personality.

The actress kept the gold rush flowing with an Edie Parker ‘Wolf’ clutch, fringed earrings and shimmering eye makeup.

Dua Lipa In Ulyana Sergeenko – ‘Dunkirk’ London Premiere

Dua Lipa joined a host of stars for the ‘Dunkirk’ world premiere on Thursday (July 13) in London.

The musicians style is usually experimental judging by her last outing, so I guess she wanted to take a more measured approach on this occasion.

I love how her Ulyana Sergeenko gown marries sheer embroidered silk with a satin bustier for an ethereal mix that boasts just enough sensuality.

Adding a lime green McQueen clutch gave the look an edge of urban sophistication.

Jenny Slate In Lela Rose – ‘Landline’ LA Premiere

After a refreshingly summer look in New York City, Jenny Slate crossed the country for the ‘Landline’ LA premiere on Wednesday (July 12).

My affection continued for her Lela Rose Fall 2017 peplum gown. Even though it was from the fall collection, the vivid floral embroidery provided a lush lightness to the black base.

Plus, she did away with the collar piece to further the seasonal appropriateness, whilst letting the gown take centre stage.

Both dramatically feminine and freshly radiant… would you agree?

‘Dunkirk’ London Premiere

The ‘Dunkirk’ world premiere was held on Thursday (July 13) in London; here, a roundup of the red-carpet entrances.

Tom Hardy: Not content to resort to a standard suit for the high-profile premiere, Tom looked to Gucci for this midnight-blue three-piece ‘Monaco’ suit that featured an all-over diamond-print. With his striped tie and shirt and the contrasting pocket square, I feel as if he could have probably done without the tie clips. Christian Louboutin shoes rounded out his suave statement.

Charlotte Riley: I was thrilled to see Charlotte in the Galvan jumpsuit from the Pre-Fall 2017 collection that Shay Mitchell previously wore in a different colourway. The piece presents so much better in the singular shade, as she was modern elegance personified here—while smartly coordinating in hue with husband Tom’s midnight-blue look.

Harry Styles: Harry makes his acting debut in ‘Dunkirk,’ and he dressed to impress for his red-carpet premiere in a custom Gucci double-breasted suit that may have been tamer than his penchant for bold, colourful looks. But, it still had all of his eternally cool, sartorial nonchalance. I love how he finished the ensemble with the burgundy-red boots that were another nod to his signature style.
