Kristen Bell In Paper London – ‘Pandas’ LA Premiere

Kristen Bell attended the documentary premiere of ‘Pandas’ on Saturday (March 17) in Los Angeles, California, which she narrates.

I’m sure her decision to go for this black and white Paper London dress isn’t lost on you, but the homage to the cuddly bears didn’t end there, as even her eyeliner was also black and white.

I like how the white pumps brings a lightness and balance to the structured silhouette. Black would’ve been too heavy and weight down the look.

Even if you don’t like this outfit, I’m sure you’ll appreciate that this was a fun celebration of Pandas who are beloved around the world, plus it provided a refreshing change from the standard LBD.

Margot Robbie In Chanel – ‘Peter Rabbit’ Sydney Premiere

After a whirlwind start to 2018 with back-to-back red carpets and award ceremonies, Margot Robbie is showing no signs of slowing down with her promo tour for ‘Peter Rabbit’.

On Saturday (March 17), the actress back on home turf for the Sydney premiere in head to toe Chanel, which isn’t a surprise as she’s just been named as the latest brand ambassador to iconic French fashion house.

As it was a 32 degree hot summers in Sydney, this iridescent blue and black tweeded muslin jacket and skirt from the Spring 2018 collection has raised a few eyebrows, but I’m a fan of the both the colour and the silhouette, despite seeing a myriad of androgynous, boxy and double-breasted iterations before.

Margot has already done a summery dress for the LA premiere, so I love that she did something different and a little unexpected.

Chanel shoes and jewels accessorized the outfit, but I was also intrigued by the makeup as Margot sported an eye-catching fun and whimsical silver glitter eye look.

‘Midnight Sun’ LA Premiere

Patrick Schwarzenegger, Quinn Shephard and Bella Thorne graced the red carpet at the ‘Midnight Sun’ LA premiere on Thursday (March 15).

Patrick Schwarzenegger: The actor looked dapper in a Dzojchen suit. The one-button jacket created crisp lines for a thoroughly modern finish. The bright white shirt and trainers enhanced the sharp suave nature of the ensemble with the footwear adding a cool casualness.

Quinn Shephard: The actress really stood out in this trio. Her Christopher Kane Resort 2018 black ruffle sleeve dress looked like it was destined for only the pages of a magazine, but I’m impressed with how well she pulls this off. The right undergarments helps, followed by the confidence in making such an intricate design work. Styled with Giuseppe Zanotti star embellished sandals and a rouge lip, Quinn finds a place on my one-to-watch list.

Bella Thorne: One of the constants of the actress’s style of late has been unpredictability and this Raisa & Vanessa fringe corset dress played into that. It had such a rich opulence with the mix of heavy embellishment. The form-fitting shape had a sensual allure, but it was tempered with the longer skirt and vintage sentiment. She could have overcooked the look with accessories so the Sergio Rossi heels and Norman Silverman jewelry were wise options.

‘Gemini’ LA Premiere

Soft shades and whimsical touches were the styles at the ‘Gemini’ LA premiere on Thursday (March 15).

Zoe Kravitz: The beauty donned an ivory slip Gucci Spring 2018 dress, bringing an alluring vintage sentiment via the lace trim. She tempered the lingerie effect with a Prada blazer. The feather-adorned cuffs added a playful touch and worked with the softer details in the frock. It’s a shame about the creases on the skirt as this had such a low-key beauty.

Lola Kirke: The romantic mood continued with her costar’s ensemble. The English actress brought the glamour with a one-shouldered dress. The shorter silhouette and pleated skirt lent an Old Hollywood vibe which she gamely played up with her accessories and makeup. The star appliqués on the hip brought a touch of whimsy and rendered bold jewellery unnecessary.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Five suits. Five completely different takes on menswear tailoring in this latest roundup of fellows.

Logan Miller: Joining Katherine Langford at the ‘Love, Simon’ LA screening on Tuesday (March 13), Logan offered up a fresh take on tailoring. I love how his Topshop suit riffed on the standard with its red pinstripe detailing—especially when paired with a whimsical micro-pattern button-down from The Kooples. Kenneth Cole shoes rounded out the look.

Dave Franco: The actor was at the ‘6 Balloons’ premiere during the 2018 SXSW Conference and Festivals on Monday (March 12) in Austin, Texas. I was particularly fond of the navy and Kelly green combo in this Sandro Homme ensemble. With the slight crop of the trousers, as it offered a colour-saturated, spring-forward take on laid-back, yet polished, tailoring.

Edgar Ramirez: As the guest of honour at the Hublot Private Dinner in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday (March 13), Edgar relied on handsome shades of gray to keep it effortlessly cool in this Strong Suit ensemble, styled with a textural print dress shirt for added impact.
