Jennifer Lopez Wore Atelier Versace To The ‘Office Romance’ LA Premiere
Jennifer Lopez attended the world premiere of Netflix’s Office Romance at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood on Tuesday alongside her co-star Brett Goldstein.
Yes, another rom-com from the rom-com queen, but you will be pleased to know that didn’t translate to her red carpet look. There was no sugary pink tulle or frothy fantasy gown in sight.
Instead, the mood was dark glamour with a dose of old-school bombshell energy, as Jennifer wore an Atelier Versace Spring 2004 gown personally selected from the archives by Donatella Versace. That makes three archival pulls this month, following Anne Hathaway’s look for The Devil Wears Prada 2 London premiere and Miley Cyrus’ gown for her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. At this point, Donatella seems to have appointed herself as the unofficial archival curator, and honestly, who knows the Atelier Versace back catalogue better than the woman who helped shape it?
The gown brought drama, romance, and sex appeal in equal measure. The structured, embellished bodice framed Jennifer’s décolletage, while the sweeping black skirt delivered the kind of entrance-making grandeur that felt fitting for a Hollywood premiere. The lace-like cutwork softened the darkness of the look, stopping it from feeling too severe while adding a touch of gothic romance.
What I enjoyed most here is that this felt genuinely unexpected for Jennifer. There is something refreshing about seeing her lean into a moodier, more theatrical register, especially when it still carried that unmistakable JLo confidence. This was glamour with bite, and one of her more memorable premiere looks in recent memory.
