Paris Hilton has been in Dubai shooting “My New Best Friend Forever”, so we haven’t seen her on the red carpet in a while.

You’ll be happy to see that at the screening of her documentary “Paris, Not France”, she wasn’t sporting any headbands.  That’s because she was channeling a old Hollywood look and a headband would have messed up her marcel waves.

Paris sparkled from head-to-toe wearing a fringed flapper-style Roberto Cavalli Resort 2009 dress, with her favourite Le Silla shoes.

The sparkle with Paris wearing some stunning jewels including a diamond bracelet and diamond earrings.

She left her favourite Christian Louboutin Maykimay clutch at home and carried an equally dazzling silver box clutch.

I know it will take hell freezing over for many of you to say that Paris looks good, but I think she looks sophisticated, tasteful and classy.

What say you?

Nicky Hilton was there so support her sister.

She opted for a black Alexander Wang one-shoulder dress so she wouldn’t outshine her sister - if that’s even possible.

Her look was complete with the most stunning pair of emerald drop earrings I have ever seen. They are very similar to the Lorraine Schwartz earrings Angelina Jolie’s wore to the Oscars this year.

She completes the look with Christian Louboutin lace pumps.

It’s quite a simple look, but I really love it.

How uncanny.  I was just saying earlier today that the Loewe Spring 2009 collection doesn’t get enough love from celebrities, and now two UK fashionistas are flying to Spanish flag.

First Victoria Beckham and now Sienna Miller.

Unfortunately for Sienna her clothing were soaked on the boat trip to the HMS Belfast, where she joined her castmates for the London photocall of her new movie “G.I JOE: The Rise Of Cobra”.

Being the good humoured girl that she is, Sienna showed off her soaked grey Loewe Spring 2009 canvas pants to the photographers gathered at the event.

Her military-style look was complete with a white chiffon blouse from the same collection, with gold piping and shiny gold buttons.

The ensemble was worn with aqua, grey, pink and gold tipped lizard and crocodile fan pumps from the same collection.

Another great look for Sienna.

Rachel Nichols, who you may remember as a blonde playing Julia in the movie “Sisterhood of Travelling Pants 2″, wore a grey asymmetrical Brian Reyes shift dress from the Fall 2009 collection.

She towered over Sienna Miller wearing a black satin pair of Casadei pumps.

Whilst her co-stars wore designer clothes, Pregnant Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova, wore head-to-toe Topshop.

She wore a red striped Topshop dress with a peplum at the waist which covered her tiny bump.

Added to her look was a Topshop black suede panther belt with a pair of Topshop suede boots.

Cheap but chic.

Lesile Mann blossomed in a raspberry twill tiered bustier dress with a pleated skirt from the Martin Grant Fall 2009 collection.

The colour is outstanding and she stands head-and-shoulders above the other ladies who walked this red carpet.

Her look was paired with a Judith Leiber clutch, Fred Leighton jewels and Christian Louboutin Very Galaxy fuchsia peep-toes.

This is a very long step down from Elizabeth Banks’ stunning looks at Cannes Film Festival.

The usually well-turned out star was let down massively by her hair which was excessively back-combed to make it resemble a lion’s mane.

The dark roots are killing her too.

It’s a huge shame because her elegant MaxMara LBD with an asymmetrical neckline is gorgeous, as are her heels.

Anna Faris wore pale yellow dress which neither excited nor disappoints.

Toni Collette should have remembered the “Take one thing off before you leave the house rule” because those leggings are really working against her.

Again this is a shame because her chic embellished Sass & Bide dress worn with a large waist belt, is such an unexpected fabulous look for her.

Her dress was paired with a Jimmy Choo Rumer clutch and

Vera Farmiga, who is the lead actress in this movie, looked stunning wearing a Versace Spring 2009 white silk one-shoulder gown with a heart shaped and zipper detailing on the bodice.

The gown was paired with nude leather zipper sandals, a metallic gold paillette clutch and Versace Fine jewelry.

Her hair was elegant styled into a chic updo and I would say the look was head-to-toe perfect, but the heart detail on her dress looks a bit crushed, but it’s always difficult to achieve runway perfection.

I’m not sure who’s idea it was to sex up little Miss Rossum, but I like it.

Earlier this week we saw Emmy Rossum wearing a black structured Ungaro dress, and for this premiere we get more of the same.  An edgy urban look via this Phi Fall 2009 high-neck dress with a paisley print and exposed zipper.

It kinda has a biker feel to it don’t you think?

I’m glad she opted out of the long leather gloves, the tights, and the belt, but I would have loved her to have worn her hair in a slick back tight pony.

Here is a first red carpet look of Ciara’s new shorter do.

Personally I don’t like it. Mostly because it feels like a quick reaction to Rihanna’s recent crop.

The singer wore black leather skinny pants with a gold sequined Gryphon racer back tank top.

I’m not quite sure what’s going on here, but I know it don’t like it.

Kim Kardashian opted for a strange Proenza Schouler T-shirt bustier dress which looks like she has a black tee shirt under a white strapless dress.

The dress is paired with a YSL cage belt and YSL trib two heels, but even they can’t save this look.

Kim’s make-up is usually flawless, but on this occasion I can’t say I love it.

If I was to write a list of red carpet rules one of them would be to keep the neck bare when wearing a strapless dress, then I see Katherine Heigl’s stunning chunky David Yurman pearls with her Lanvin Fall 2009 beige tulle strapless dress and I instantly ditch the rules.

That is because the yellow and white pearls really add some pizazz to her look and as a result she glows.

Beige pumps and a classic updo complete this perfect look.

Kate Walsh supported her former colleague wearing a cute sleeveless blazer with matching white shorts by Isabella Oliver.

Gold accessories including Moschino Cheap and Chic metallic gold cut out peep toe wedges, a gold clutch and gold bangles complete this summer fresh look.

OK, I think it’s official I’m in love with Venus Williams’ style at the moment.

She is on fire and I hope she progresses to even better looks in the future.

On this occasion the Wimbledon runner up opted for a coral strapless dress with bejeweled sandals and a lavender stone choker.

As great as Serena Williams looked at the ESPY Awards, she really lets herself down here for wearing this plunging black dress without some support.

No bra, no likey.

Jewel lets her green maxi Temperley London dress with an embroidered neckline do all the talking, as the singer opts for a minimal jewelry.

Before the heaven opened and we experienced torrential rain in London today, Emma Watson looked angelic wearing a vintage Ossie Clark print dress.

Whoever is styling her is doing a fantastic job, because she looks elegant yet not too grown up to alienate her young audience.

Her look was complete flawless natural make-up and a red ribbon hair accessory.

I think I prefer this look to the previous one.

Jamelia opted for this Hervé Léger ombré dress which for me is a breathe of fresh air, because for the last 10 years she has pretty much only worn Dolce & Gabbana on the red carpet.

Peachy bow heels complete this look.

Meg Matthews is usually quite brash and colourful on the red carpet, but on this occasion she opted for a subdued grey Antonio Berardi Tweed crew neck dress which has been lengthened from the runway version.

The most interesting part of this dress with its contrasting fabrics are the pockets which sit on either side of the hips.

*Sighs*

Myleene Klass is so gorgeous. I really love her effortless style.

This peachy dress hugs her gorgeous curves which she is now proud of. I love the way the dress drapes on her.

I never liked her look when she was a size 0. Curves are good.

JK Rowling also took to the red carpet.

The author showed of a lot of cleavage wearing a plunging blue chiffon Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti gown which she accessorized with a matching Marc Jacobs clutch and gold Christian Louboutin Differa sandals.

It’s been a quiet week on the red carpet, so we have relied mostly on Marion Cotillard to give us red carpet wow moments and she didn’t let us down last night.

The French actress looked stunning in a pink Christian Dior Resort 2010 dress at the Paris “Public Enemies” premiere.

Whilst most were concentrating on her strange choice of sparkling burgundy Dior wedges, I was drooling over her pink dress. The colour is absolutely perfect on her.

I love the not too revealing plunge which she decorates with multiple silver necklaces, and the way the tie at the front of the dress nips in her waist to give Marion’s tiny frame a gorgeous shape.

Glamorous back-combed hair, smoky eyes, neutral lips, and a python clutch added the perfect finishing touches.

Congratulations to Drew who sent me an email on Wednesday picking this dress for Marion which I added to my Red Carpet Wish List. It’s not the same colour, but it’s the same dress.

Looks like you got your wish Drew.  I hope Cate Blanchett picks mine.

Earlier in the day, Marion attended “La Fete du Cinema” cocktail launch in Paris wearing another dress from a French fashion house. This time it was Lanvin.

You can see that her dark grey Lanvin twisted neckline dress is a not too distant cousin from the Pre-Fall 2009 dress which was presented on the runway.

I love the way this dress just drapes so elegantly on her, especially the neckline which has an interesting gathered detail.

Studded strappy sandals was an interesting footwear choice for this sophisticated look.
