Lea Seydoux In Prada – ‘La Belle et la Bete’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Lea Seydoux In Prada - ‘La Belle et la Bete’ Premiere

Lea Seydoux attended the ‘La belle et la Bete’ (Die Schoene und das Biest) premiere during the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival held at Berlinale Palast on Friday (February 14) in Berlin, Germany.

Miuccia Prada is on fire at the moment, because this is yet another Prada gown I love.

This decadent offering featuring a bordeaux long sleeve taffeta top, with an open back, and dark floral ball skirt is one my favourite looks from Lea.

I love the balance of drama and romanticism; it’s such an opulent take on graceful eveningwear; fit for a queen.

A chic updo and luscious bordeaux lips rounded out her BDOTY worthy look.

Go big or go home ! Everything is perfect :
Make-up, dress, hair, minimal jewels. I’m glad she didn’t add a clutch, that would have been too heavy.

    Mind blowing, awesome, queen.

All the colours here are just perfection – her lips, hair, the top and the skirt. Beautiful.

    Wow. Prada. Who knew?

I don’t know, there is just something about the dress that keeps me from completely loving it. The color is beautiful, and her hair and makeup are perfect. I think it’s the material of the top that puts me off a tad. Or maybe the Scarlett O’Hara feel of the skirt.

At first I wasn’t too fond of the top but now I simply adore this fabulous look. That skirt is so stunning. She looks enchanting. Might the best look at this festival.

There’s so many Spring collections on the red carpet now, that for a moment I was like, why is she wearing dark colors and sleeves? lol This is lovely. I especially love the dark lipstick with the bodice.

    BDOTW!

I’m blown away by this. It’s simply gorgeous and that skirt is the high point or maybe the rich bordeaux hue or maybe those lips…or wait…everything!I especially love the back!

It’s not even the gown itself it’s the way she carries it. She captures and projects the mood of it to perfection. She is a vision.

    STUNNING! WOW

  17. kane February 14, 2014 at 23:34 #

Wow, love at first sight and in thumbnail size! Just may not look at the fit and the execution of the dress too closely. I really really want to love this, but don’t quite as much as everybody else seems to.

    Wow wow wow!

    Epic!
    BDOTY for sure

do not understand all the excitement. the top is wrinkly and looks extremely cheap. Ya the skirt is dope and oh so pretty but to me it does not make enough of an impact that I will remember this in a week.

  20. Alina February 15, 2014 at 06:03 #

I love this! The colour of the top is divine. BDOTY contender for sure.

This is just stunning. with her hair colour and the lip colour, it’s just beautiful. The question is, if she goes to the BAFTA’s, which I would haope she does as a nominee, how on earth is she going to better this? I hope she hasn’t peaked too early here, maybe this should have been saved for that.

Perfect. The better fashion this jan/feb definitely seems to be away from the awards circuit

  23. Kathy February 15, 2014 at 16:29 #

I really want to like this, because it’s so rare for Prada to make a successful ball gown, but the whole thing seems matronly to me. Between the bun, long sleeves, modest neckline, and flowery print, Lea just just looks stuffy and much older than she is. This is a dress for Cate Blanchett or maybe Helen Mirren.

    • kane February 15, 2014 at 18:28 #

Hm-m, I keep having to actively remind myself that this isn’t Charlotte Rampling actually. Certainly older than her years, but then again also not the worst person to be confused with.

  24. Dhppy February 16, 2014 at 23:13 #

I wish the skirt portion weren’t cut as a full ballgown, but from the waist up this is gorgeous… especially the styling. This is the best styling and ensemble match that I’ve seen in some time.
