I love this dress! and yes I agree with you. classy and sexy at the same time!
She was glowing, literally.
I think the earrings were a bit OTT for this look, the dress makes a powerful statement by itself, it needed nothing to supplement it. Fit is great,dress looks very expensive (almost enough gold to be considered tacky) and perfect hair and makeup.
A little low cut, but I love the skirt–and all the gold! A dramatic look, very nice to see!

The swirls at the bottom are exactly like Lwrens scott’s new klimt inspired collection. They’re on the bottom of Nicole Kidman’s dress too. Weird coincidence.

She is actually 43. I think she looks a little older somehow, I think because she is married to Michael Douglas we think she is older than she really is. I do like the dress, but not keen on her makeup.

Catherine Zeta Jones has make up a lot of effort for her mojo comeback after her emotional meltdown in 2010!! She puts the Oscar statues to shame in this glittery embellished Zuhair Murad creation!! Love the swirls and pattern, and that drop earrings are super exquisite!! Love Catherine let her natural beauty shines by subtle makeup and false eyelashes!! Definitely one of my favorites in the night!!
I don’t know why people didn’t like it.. I love it! Actually I love HER! she’s brunette so gold is great for her! Although the bottom part could be more “heavy”..
on anyone else this would be tacky heaven but catherine is looking flawless in the dress.
Skirting the edge of being ‘too much’ but Catherine pulls it off. She looks beautiful and I loved her glossy wavy hair. I would have liked a little more color in her lips, I can’t help but feeling this nude lip trend washes these ladies out. The lashes were definitely dramatic, but again she pulls it off.
If it had kept up the same level of embellishment on the bottom as the top, it would have been a much better gown. But, as it is the bottom seems noncommittal. It’s as if the dress chose to both “go big” and “go home”.

As usual Zuhair Murad is on the verge of tacky with this creation, but that’s not the main problem. This is one of those dresses that does not look good on all angles and looks better on a still picture than when it’s moving. On the picture it doesn’t bother me so much but on tv it did not look flattering at all.
