Emma Stone’s continued to promote her latest movie, ‘The Croods’ during the 2013 Berlin Film Festival this evening.
Once again I’m in love with her look. Many of you didn’t love her photocall look as much as I did, so I would love to know your thoughts on this Gucci Spring 2013 dress.
Her hive tulle LBD with puffy silk sleeves is everything: youthful, sophisticated and modern.
The black patent pumps keep the focus on the dress, with a pretty pink lip colour adding a fresh touch of colour to her look.
Opting for another high bun, this time in a sleek back style, she completed her look with earrings by Jamie Wolf and a Graziela rings.
I wouldn’t change a single thing about this look. She is perfection personified.

The only thing I would consider changing is the lip color. I hate that shade of pink on anyone, so I wish she’d done something different.
That lip color is not to my taste either. I would have preferred a warmer, more coral-toned pink.

Agreed. The lip color is rather jarring against the rest of the look. A berry, red or nude lip would’ve been more appropriate.
Her Stella McCartney photocall look was way too ‘blah and meh’ even for the photocall. This is really good – the dress is so fresh, modern and exciting, I can totally get on board with the simple pumps (although still would’ve preferred a good sandal), her hair is flirty and youhful and makeup is flawless, absolutely adorable, thumbs up from me, BDOTW worthy.
reading other comments here…I think this particular tone of pink works perfectly here, I wouldn’t change it.

I am prepared to be in the minority here. I do not like the sleeves. I feel like they make it too cutesy and fit for someone more like Elle Fanning. I think the lipstick only works in theory bc close up it’s a smeared mess.

I liked her photocall look but I love this BDOTW worthy look. The sleeves and hive tulle give a bit of edge and quirk to the sophistication. Emma and Gucci go so well, her ‘Spiderman’ Paris look was on my BDOTY list.
That is awful. It’s awful on runway, it’s awful on her, it’ll be awful on everyone! The only way this dress is even remotely good is if it is just being shown for art and not ACTUALLY worn.

Loving Gucci’s new designs. I think you have missed this, recently loved Kylie Minogue’s Gucci dress at the Roc Nation pre-Grammy event. It’s fresh, sexy, yet sophisticated.
If anyone else wore this whimsical look, I’d have trouble liking it. But this is fab on Emma. She just has such aplomb and yet quirk–perfect for looks like these. It’s slightly too short but otherwise a good look.

I love unusual clothes but this dress doesn’t quite work for me… and therefore I’m not loving it on Emma. I prefer the lookbook image where you can see a gap between the sleeves and the models waist, but where Emma has her arms by her side, it makes me wish the sleeves were less ‘pouffy’

I adore this look, it’s great to see the fit young actress dressing modern, it suits hee. I also love how she added a youthful touch with the bubblegum lips, without them the look would’ve been very somber.
