Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Saint Laurent – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Saint Laurent - 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Like Halle Berry, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley put her best foot forward on the red carpet at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night.

The British model/actress wore a Saint Laurent Spring 2013 gown with a pussy-bow neckline and side slit, accented with a corseted leather belt.

She accessorized with Saint Laurent black suede ankle-strap peep-toes, and rings by Dana Rebecca and Norman Silverman.

While Rosie looks beautiful, I have to say I’m slightly underwhelmed.

I never thought I would say the words, “Rosie Huntington-Whiteley” and “underwhelmed” in the same sentence.

I agree, I’m underwhelmed too. She does look beautiful, but it’s not a memorable look.

+1. Yup she does look beautiful but lacking the ‘IT’ factor she always carries.

She’s not selling this look. Sadly. Very underwhelmed.

      I agree.

looks pretty BUT what is she even doing in an event like golden globes?

I wish people would stop with the Angelina leg thing. There’s a slit, you have great pins – we get it.

The dress is fine but this is an unmemorable look.

Well at least she didn’t wear the hat

I really like the dress. Rosie was one of the best dressed of the night.

+1 – I guess I got some of the “whelm” everyone else missed ;)

I agreed I think her look is great but her pose that ruined the whole look.

I love the dress on the runway but here’s smth wrong… Maybe the bow should have been tucked in,and the slit is too much… I think it would have worked better, it’s not a bad look.

I think what she is wearing is appropriate. She is here as the date of one of the presenters (Jason Statham).

The dress is beautiful but nothing special. Why must women in slit skirts pose like that? It looks ridiculous. They don’t need to stick their leg way out to call attention to the slit and their legs.

If it had the full, unslited skirt of the runway rather than this subdued yet revealing one, I would have liked the dress. The shoes are another story.

    Her foot looks ugly.

I love the dress. It’s a truly gorgeous piece. Too bad the hair and shoes are so awful they bring the whole look down. I’m very underwhelmed too. Definitely not a memorable look.

i think if the hair was up in like a sleek ponytail and a better shoe ( WHY DO STYLISTS ALWAYS GO WRONG WITH THE SHOES) this would have been fab, cause the dress is great.

    • Liana January 15, 2013 at 01:25 #

Absolutely agree. The hair kill the look and the shoes do nothing to save it.

  14. Jess2 January 15, 2013 at 12:21 #

I think the dress looks good on Rosie. This isn’t a bad look imo.
