Nicole Richie gave me goosebumps when she took to the red carpet this evening for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.
The ‘Fashion Star’ judge was radiant wearing a Naeem Khan Spring 2013 pale blue floral embroidered and beaded jewel neckline gown.
On a cold January evening, she wisely opted for long sleeves, styling her look with a House of Harlow fringed bag, which is a nod to her wild side.
Veronica Lake waves, H.Stern Stars stud earrings and flawless makeup completed her look.
If this was not her best red carpet look ever, then it’s in the top two.

This is her best red carpet look to date. She looks beautiful in this dress.
That pale blue is spectacular.
The gown is so gorgeous, LOVE (!!!). The clutch is out of place, would’ve preferred something a bit more elegant with this stunning gown but I love it so much I can forgive the clutch.

Oh I really don’t like this! When you combine the colour of this dress with that fabric and what I can only describe as a rather frumpy fit (it’s not the high neckline etc. but the silhouette) it just looks ageing.
Yes, my firs thought was that it ages her to about 50. Not loving it. Maybe I’ll check out some more shots from different angles and see if I change my mind, but it is simply aging.
Okay, looked at some close ups. It’s the hair and especially the eye makeup that are ruining this look for me. Simpler hair, possibly pulled back and getting rid of the the heavy, heavy blue eye makeup might make this more fresh and youthful.

The color’s all wrong for her.
I get where she as going with this look but…hmmm. The blue is a bit too sharp for her. A softer, richer blue would have been nice. Her makeup and hair always feel a bit forced to me. Hair looks good here, but the eye makeup is heavy. The clutch is fun, but overall this look isn’t anywhere near my top ten.
I’m getting a mother of the bride-look from this. Too aging. And the clutch looks like something she grabbed on the way out.

I’m a huge fan of Nicole but I don’t like this look. My first reaction was eeeekkk it made her look 10 years older.
O…M…G and WOW!!!!! Absolutely her best look ever! I love everything about this look from head to toe. This is going on every best dressed list that I have!
she looks ok, nothing to get chills or gasp about it imo. The make up put me on the fence. In some photos, the blue shadow complements the gown well, but in other, it kinda looks bizarre, sort of drag queenish. Nice look overall.

Beautiful dress and it looks great on Nicole but I’m not loving the hair, make-up or clutch… AT ALL.
I was all in until I realized it was Nicole Richie under all that makeup. I love me some blue eyeshadow as much as the next girl but that looks terrible on her.
