Kiko Mizuhara In Chanel – 54th Fashion Editors Club of Japan Awards

Last Thursday, Kiko Mizuhara brought some festive cheer to the red carpet at the 54th Fashion Editors Club of Japan Awards held at the Mercedes-Benz Connection in Tokyo, Japan, where she received the ‘Model of the Year’ award.

The Japanese actress and model wore a Chanel Resort 2013 dress.

Looking so cute she could top a Christmas tree, her gold embroidered mini dress with a taupe velvet ribbon tied around the waist was paired with Christian Louboutin ‘Annees Folles’ champagne-coloured pumps.

A pearl-accented choker and hot-red lips completed her award-winning look.

    Don’t like the choker

Quite adorable. She found the true soul of this dress.

She looks adorable in this dress even with the choker.

She looks much better than the model. The only thing I don’t like here is the choker.

A bit too short but it’s working, so cute, loving the pop of colour via bold lippie, the shoes complement the dress, the choker is an adorable playful addition, and she is totally working the cute playful vibe of the dress.

I was also on the fence about the choker in the beginning but decided that it’s a nice festive touch, it works.

I agree with those who think the choker is (at best) unnecessary, but it doesn’t bother me much. I suspect she added it to give the look a festive, more dressy feel, suitable to the occasion.

In any case, I love the life she brings to this dress. And I love, love, love the hair and make-up!
    She is stunning.

If I was missing any holiday cheer before, this look just provided the rest.

Would love it if she lost the choker and it was six inches longer.
