Darren Criss joined many lovely ladies on the red carpet at The Hollywood Palladium, to honour Katy Perry at the ‘Trevor Live’ event in California on Sunday evening.
We are used to seeing men don a suit, but Darren decided upon an unexpected carpet look.
He wore an Emporio Armani Spring 2013 knit double-breasted navy jacket with gold buttons; styled with a light-blue shirt, grey pants and a maroon The Tie Bar tie.
Black patent leather Christian Louboutin ‘James loafers with a metal toe-cap and tassel details completed his look.
I love the this geek chic look. It almost has a back-to-school feel to it.

There is a bit too much of a school uniform feel to it, I’m afraid, not liking it.
Well he played a prep school student on Glee, so this look works. It makes sense on him.

Thanks so much for the kind words! With this outfit, Darren and I really loved this navy double-breasted jacket – such a different approach with the knit and gold buttons. And as soon as I laid eyes on those Christian Louboutin loafers, I knew they would add the perfect touch to this outfit – gentleman chic.
