Mar Saura joined Maria Jose Suarez on the red carpet for the Global Gift Gala at the Gran Melia Don Pepe Resort in Marbella, Spain, on Sunday evening.
The actress looked breathtaking wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2012 gown.
Her blossom silk-georgette metallic lamé and ostrich feather embroidered gown was one of the best looks at this event.
The silver Jimmy Choo clutch, matching Chocrón jewels and side-swept wavy brunette locks have me swooning.
I can’t think of anything that needs to be added to this look to make it more perfect.
This is my first BDOTW contender.

I actually can think of something. The heavy eye makeup bothers me a lot! I’m already not a big fan of heavy eyes, and considering the rest of the look is so heavenly it’s even worse. The rest is perfect.
What a beauty! The colour looks great on her but I am not a fan of this ‘high fringe in the front and back and low fringe on the sides’ effect.
Gorgeous dress! She looks stunning.
Gorgeous and definitely BDOTW material, however, I wish she would have kept the belt as seen on the runway, would have pulled everything together.

I agree that she looks beautiful, but I really don’t like the placement of the feathers on the dress. Looks like she has feathers coming out of her behind and her crotch–why do that? The fabric of the dress is very beautiful, and feathers are fine, but not where they were placed!

That’s the 1st thing that popped at me – the placement of the feathers is very off-putting. Lovely otherwise.

I was literally just scrolling through the site quickly but I just had to stop and stare at this for a while. What an amazing dress. I think the presentation by Mar is better than it was presented on the runway. It’s gonna be hard to top this. One of my BDOTY so far.
