Selena Gomez In Dolce & Gabbana – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Selena Gomez opted for a very sexy look on the red carpet for the 2012 Nickelodeon Annual Kids’ Choice Awards, held at the Galen Center in LA yesterday afternoon.

The singer wore a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 two-piece look.

A floral jacquard bustier top was teamed with a two-tone crystal embellished skirt.

She didn’t let us down in the footwear department as she opted for Cesare Paciotti two-tone pink-and-orange studded heels.

I love that Selena managed to find the perfect way of looking sexy without looking trashy.

Megan Fox wore this same embellished Dolce & Gabbana skirt on ‘Jay Leno’ back in February.

I love this look. I’m always really impressed by Selena’s style and this is no exception. She definitely strikes the right balance here and she’s gorgeous. Also in love with the shoes!

I kind of think this is a little innapropriate for the Kids choice awards though. Her shoes are amazing!

I agree. I do not like it when Selena Gomez goes for a sexy look. Her shoes are amazing and I agree with both of you that Megan Fox rocked the skirt better, despite her awkward top choice. I hate the bustier bra thing on the runway from the get-go.

I too much prefered Megan’s look. I am not a fan of the cropped top–I think it’s trashy regardless and especially for a kids event. Cool shoes!

She has an amazing taste when it comes to footwear! I love that she wore an unexpected brand- we rarely see Cesare Paciotti on the red carpet and it´s such a shame, because many of his shoes are absolutely amazing!

For a third year in a row she’s my favourite on KCaA’s red carpet. She looks so youthful and sexy!

I think I might be alone in not liking this! I love the look on the model, because it has a 50′s Capri vibe with the slightly loose fit of the bustier, the ponytail and earrings, and simple shoes. I think the styling is wrong on Selena- the hair, make up and shoes are too sexy, she should have gone with a cleaner, fresher look (like the runway) to tone down the overt sexiness of the midriff

J’adore! Selena and Isabel Fuhrman are my faves so far! Selena doesn’t look trashy whatsoever, and I love the shoes!

I’m not a fan of this tbh. Her hair should be tied up. Those shoes are just don’t go with the rest of the outfit, no getting around that. It’s a cute outfit but don’t think it’s appropriate for this event. Maybe the TCA’s

she looks great! and, as you’ve pointed out, SEXY. which made me think if this was appropriate for the kids show. I mean it’s *appropriate* but the sex appeal is just too strong, maybe she needed to go for a *cute* look instead. just for this one event. otherwise, the look is p.e.r.f.e.c.t.

I dislike her hair and makeup and the shoes don’t work with the rest of the outfit. I agree that she looks nice and its not like its inappropriate or anything but its just not what someone should wear to the KIDS choice awards. I also hate her posture in the photo.

Had this been a dress, I’d have loved it. I have a serious problem with these kinds of tops, so I can’t be a fan of the overral look. But it’s undeniable that she looks very pretty.

I like the look though the hair and make up is not good. Some say she’s experimenting with fashion but I always sense a bit of try-hard especially here and even though Katy perry( who never really does anything for me) showed up in a similar style of outfit she did get more on the right side of the event where people get drenched in slime!!Somebody needs the right balance

I like this look… i read at other websites as being a “worst dressesd” look. Maybe its not totally appropriate but it is cute… not trashy
