For Cushnie et Ochs’ Fall 2012 collection, Carly Cushnie & Michelle Ochs were inspired by Pedro Almodovar’s The Skin I Live In- the story about a surgeon’s obsession with creating a protective second skin immune to damage.
Their femme fatale collection didn’t stray far away from their signature body-con dresses punctuated with modern details such as sexy cut-outs, zipper accents and zigzag seaming.
They did experiment this season with draping and separates which including leather pants paired with a fur trim coat and black top with a silver fitted skirt.
I was delighted to see more colour in this collection with pops of cobalt blue and green, with the rest of the colour palette including their favourite colours, black and silver plus ecru.
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Blake Lively, Rose Byrne, Lake Bell, Zoe Saldana, Liya Kebede, Kelly Rowland, Rihanna, Ciara, Keira Knightley, Kerry Washington, Rooney Mara, Anna Paquin, Jessica Alba and Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester is more versatile than the others. Would you agree FC?
somewhat
Yeeees, that dress for Keira !
Ditto!
Oh, I love that dress, so beautiful!
I like this collection FC. Was not on my radar. Thank you. Sexy but tasteful. Love how you are matching look to celebs…fun
interesting collection,it would be nice to see them on someone with attitude. btw FC how do you feel about the glistening/ wet looking hair trend as seen in many runway shows this season?
Great on the runway…hope it doesn’t appear on the red carpet
I only like the first look (the blue dress with crossover bodice) but I really like how you’re matching dresses with celebs! It’s awesome!
Once again, I love your picks, especially for Blake and Kiera.
I hope we get to see the last gown with the cut-outs on the red carpet!!!
I could see Angelina vamping it up in the black leather number and Olivia Wilde would hot in quite a few of these numbers.
