Jessica Alba was a close second to Charlize Theron for Best Dressed on on the night of the 2012 Golden Globes.
The mother of two was a vision of perfection wearing a Gucci Premiere pale lilac silk-charmeuse embroidered evening gown.
I love the crystal-encrusted organza petals that cover her dress, which has a high-waisted sash that drapes into a pleated train.
Her matching accessories included a Roger Vivier satin clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
Bulgari jewels, a side-parted updo and flawless makeup including pink glossy lips completed her look.

She is my 2nd runner-up, absolutely heavenly. Love how well the pale gown works with her skin tone without washing her out. Hair, makeup, accessories -all spot-on.

Jessica Alba manages to look boring on everything she wears but she was beautiful at the Golden Globes, but well.. I think anyone who wears this dress suddently looks stunning!

I think it was all too cutesy. Had someone else work this dress, I would’ve liked it more. But with Jessica’s sweet smile, it’s making me nauseous.

I really cannot, though beleive me I have tried, fall in love with this. I have been nitpickign to work out what it is, and it is either that the hem of the embroidered part of the dress isn’t fluid enough and so is a little (teeny weeny) bit frumpier than it could be, and that her lips and eyebrows are a bit too light.
The minute I saw Charlize on TV, I thought: “She looks stunning! By faaaar my favourite!” she looks perfect from head to toe

I like it, I think it`s a flawless look and she looks gorgeous! in the other hand it lacks the wow factor, it`s beautiful, but not interesting or breathtaking.

I love this – when she stepped on stage I just went wow! Thank goodness someone had a strapless gown that fitted to perfection. So many need hoiking up an inch or two! The colour was so perfect with her skin, she looked flawless, elegant and sophisticated.
I think she, Tilda and Paula Patton made the best color choices on the runway.
She looks amazing! The only thing that slightly bothers me is that her lipstick is a bit too pale. Had it been slightly darker, it would have been perfect.
