Sandra Bullock In Martin Grant – ‘Bird Box’ New York Screening

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon Feattures Sandra Bullock In Martin Grant - 'Bird Box' New York Screening

Sandra Bullock looked absolutely ravishing on the red carpet for the screening of ‘Bird Box’ on Monday (December 17) in New York City.

The actress who continues to show that she’s not afraid of colour, opted for a festive red gown from Martin Grant’s Spring 2019 collection.

I’m not sure everyone will be on-board with bustle-like volume tumbling down the skirt, but since Sandra usually opts for clean silhouettes I found this both refreshing and intriguing.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Martin Grant – Tonga Visit Day 2

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Martin Grant - Tonga Visit Day 2

This morning (October 26) the Duke and Duchess of Sussex started their day by meeting with Tongan Prime Minister S. Akilisi Pohiva.

Once again Meghan Markle opted to wear another striped dress from Martin Grant, this time selecting a green-and-white striped cotton dress from the Spring 2019 collection.

Those of you who have been unimpressed with her hair during this tour, will be happy to see that she eschewed her typically relaxed hairstyles for a slicked-back ponytail.

A nude Prada clutch, diamond stud earrings from Birks and complementary green suede pumps completed her relaxed look which felt appropriate for the occasion.

Does anyone else feel that she’s gathering momentum? She felt all over the place in the beginning, but it feels like she’s hit a good stride.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Roksanda & Martin Grant – Australia Tour Day 4

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Roksanda & Martin Grant - Australia Tour Day 4

So here we have it.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex finally flying the flag for British fashion wearing a dress from Roksanda’s Pre-Fall 2018 for her visit to the Macarthur Girls High School on Friday (October 19).

Yes, it’s navy, again, but at least this ‘Athena’ dress, with its sweet ’50s inspired silhouette, is in two shades of blue, which in this case feels ground-breaking.

Of all the navy dresses she has worn in recent times, this is my favourite.

Since the girls uniform was navy and light blue, I thought this was a nice touch and well thought out.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Dion Lee & Martin Grant – Australia Tour Day 3

Meghan Markle In Dion Lee & Martin Grant - Australia Tour Day 3

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry embarked on the third day of her 16-day, 72-engagement tour on Thursday (18 October), attending a series of events in the Australian metropolis of Melbourne.

Opting to wear her smart Martin Grant trench again, there was also a familiar feeling about her navy custom made Dion Lee dress styled with navy pumps and Shaun Leane jewels.

You may remember on the eve of her wedding, she wore a very similar navy dress with a draped detail from Roland Mouret.

While this is great exposure for Dion Lee, this reminds me of the moment when Duchess Catherine wore Christopher Kane.

The link is that neither presented looks seemed true to their edgy aesthetic.

It also looks like the 3 outfit changes a day may have been exaggerated by the press.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Karen Gee – Admiralty House

While the news broke that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child, the couple were already in Australia for the start of their 16-day tour, with their first engagement at the Admiralty House in Sydney.

When Meghan wore that Givenchy coat to Princess Eugenie’s wedding many people guessed that she was pregnant, so the news wasn’t such a huge surprise.

Sticking to a familiar simple silhouette we’ve seen her wear before, Meghan wore a dress from Karen Gee – an Australian designer – which was appropriately called the ‘Blessed dress,’ which she styled with her favourite Stuart Weitzman ‘Legend’ pumps.

As this was a special day, the couple wanted Princess Diana to be part of it, so Meghan wore Princess Diana’s Heirloom butterfly earrings and bracelet.

I guess bump watch starts now, and it will be interesting to see how her style evolves – as this is a fashion website – during the course of her pregnancy.

Later during the day, Meghan added classic trench coat from Martin Grant, from the Resort 2019 collection.

Prince Harry was dressed in BOSS.

Evangeline Lilly In Martin Grant – ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ London Photocall

Evangeline Lilly was back on the red carpet promoting ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ with a photocall in London on Tuesday (July 17).

The actress continued opt for a suit wearing a Martin Grant Spring 2018 dark denim look.

I can’t say I have ever been a fan of wide leg turned-up trousers, but Evangeline is selling this look to me.

At first the signature exquisite Martin Grant tailoring wins me over, but there’s no denying the confidence that Evangeline is bringing to this look.
