Celebrities at the ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2 LA Premiere

Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, and Justine Lupe joined Leighton Meester on the red carpet for the Nobody Wants This Season 2 premiere in Los Angeles, where the group showcased their effortless approach to event dressing — each with a distinct sense of personality.

SPARKLE MODE: ON

Considering how Justine Lupe tends to go for dark hues and quiet minimalism, this JW Anderson geometric embellished dress was a revelation. ‘60s in spirit and modern in execution, it’s refreshing to see a more playful side to her style. Jimmy Choo Etana sandals complemented the look.

CASUAL CONFIDENCE

When it comes to awards ceremonies, Adam Brody is that one person who’ll stand out in a pale blue Prada suit at the Emmys or an emerald green one at the Golden Globes — so we know the guy has colour charisma. That continued as he stepped onto this red carpet wearing a Sandro textured blazer layered over a rust V-neck knit and taupe trousers which was like getting a virtual hug from the fall season. Some might find this a bit bookish, as if he’s been taking style cues from the king of academia dressing, Ryan Reynolds (they share the same stylist, by the way), but I’m totally charmed by this look, which he styled with Stuart Weitzman SW Club Classic penny loafers. Unfussy and comfortable — what more can you ask for?

RED ALERT

Kristen Bell’s red Alex Perry bikini wrap asymmetric dress blends playfulness with understated glamour. But I’m a little underwhelmed by the styling. Sure, the dress speaks for itself — but what about the footwear? Who’s speaking up for the footwear? The black pumps felt far too safe for such a bold red moment.
