Celebrities in Armani for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards
The house of Armani dressed nominees for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, delivering a range of looks that spanned old Hollywood glamour, sleek minimalism, and a few moments that are likely to divide opinion.

Back to Her Best
A celebratory cheer was heard in my house as Kate Hudson graced the red carpet wearing a custom Armani Privé silk silver gown. After the frustration of her Song Sung Blue press tour, which I never want to revisit, this felt like a return to form. I love the Great Gatsby mood created by the mix of crystal and silk fringe detailing. This was easily one of my best looks of the night. Garatti Jewelry completed her look. I also prefer this original Spring 2007 runway version worn by Ella Purnell for the 2024 ‘Babygirl’ Venice Film Festival premiere.
Styled by Sophie Lopez.

Almost Perfect
Justine Lupe looked beautiful in an Armani Privé Fall 2021 powder pink pleated crinoline gown. The embroidered crystal drops shimmered beautifully under the lights, but it was hard not to be distracted by the fact that this look needed pasties.
Styled by Rebecca Ramsey.

The Jewellery Did It
Julia Roberts wore a custom Giorgio Armani Privé silk velvet gown, exactly as understated as you would expect, paired with a Roger Vivier clutch. The Swarovski Strawberry necklace and earrings stole my attention, and I wonder if they were a nod to her strawberries and champagne moment in Pretty Woman. I have not seen After the Hunt yet, so correct me if the reference connects to her current film.
Styled by Elizabeth Stewart.

One Detail Too Much
As you know, I love a cummerbund, but I am struggling here. While the elegance of Hudson Williams’ Giorgio Armani suit works, the ivory shirt carries the look so strongly that the extra accessory was not needed. In some photos, it even reads a little bit like a fanny pack. Christian Louboutin Alleo patent leather boots and Bvlgari jewels completed his look.

Cate Coded
Kristen Bell wore a black liquid silk satin Armani Privé Fall 2025 one shoulder gown that instantly made me think of two things, the Venice Film Festival and Cate Blanchett. I love how the silhouette elongates her frame, making the petite actress appear very statuesque. Sabyasachi Jewelry completed her look.

Midnight Sky Effect
Ginnifer Goodwin wore a Giorgio Armani Privé gown embroidered with pearls and trimmed with Swarovski crystals, giving it a dazzling midnight sky effect.
Styled by Kate Bofshever.

Clean and Classic
Luke Grimes wore a Giorgio Armani navy blue one button peak lapel tuxedo, keeping things sharp and traditional.

Velvet With Flair
Marlon Wayans gave us more personality in a Giorgio Armani navy blue velvet evening jacket trimmed with Swarovski crystals.
