Blake Lively In Brunello Cucinelli – Out In New York City

Blake Lively In Brunello Cucinelli - Out In New York City

If you’re sick of Blake Lively wearing suits, you have to at least admire the woman’s commitment to this run and promotion of this movie.

Chances are you won’t forget it, so for Blake, it’s mission accomplished.

Her 1,389th suit saw her opt for Brunello Cucinelli once again while attending press engagements on Tuesday (September 11) in New York City.

Tailored to the point of perfection, her brown, white, and burgundy plaid wool captures the brand’s signature refinement.

Wearing a blouse on this occasion, the actress opted to highlight the cropped, wide-leg of the trousers with the Christian Louboutin ‘Crapadonna’ studded brogues she’s worn once before on this promo tour.

Wrapping up the autumnal toned look with a tan leather coat, shades and a box bag, I would say this is one of her best of this run.

When asked if there was a certain reason behind her new look at the New York premiere she said, “I just thought the way he (Paul Feig, who directs ‘A Simple Favor’) dressed is so beautiful.”

“I thought that like, I don’t understand why when a woman wears a suit it has to be like unbuttoned to here or no shirt, or a necklace or whatever, that’s also great, but I also think why can’t we also?” she questions. “Why can’t it be just as sexy when we’re wearing a tight bowtie and pocket square and floret and watches and rings?”

“I think that if sexuality comes out of that and you’re that covered it’s even more you know powerful.”

Blake Lively In Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Wolk Morais & Givenchy Haute Couture – ‘A Simple Favor’ New York Promotion & Premiere

Blake Lively Bottega Veneta 2 - a simple favor good morning america

As Blake Lively continued celebrating her new movie ‘A Simple Favor,’ she was in New York City for more promotion and the premiere — which meant she marched out five different suited-up looks on Monday (September 10).

Good Morning America: In what may be her quirkiest suit moment yet, the actress played with patterns in this floral Gucci suit styled with a Bottega Veneta Fall 2018 trench and Stuart Weitzman ‘Juniper’ booties. It was a bit of a sensory overload, but I like that she’s having so much fun suiting up — althouth it did remind me of something we’d see on Jared Leto — if he wore cropped pants.

Naomi Watts In Giorgio Armani, Sea New York & Valentino – 2018 Venice Film Festival

Naomi Watts In Giorgio Armani, Sea & Valentino - 2018 Venice Film Festival

Naomi Watts will serve as one of the juror for the 2018 Venice Film Festival, so we should prepare ourselves for some magic moments.

She arrived in Venice, Italy on Tuesday (August 28), and already has three looks under her belt.

Arrival: Arriving in style, the actress wore a charming seafoam-hued dress from Giorgio Armani’s Resort 2019 collection. I adore the simple, yet chic elegance – yes, even with the sneakers. Matching her Irene Neuwirth jewels to her dress, the Janessa Leone Camie hat was pièce de résistance for her boat ride to the mainland.

Lunch: This is perhaps my favourite look of the three. And it’s the seafaring Breton stripes of her Sea New York drop waist dress which total charms my heart in this idyllic location. The look was again styled with a Janessa Leone hat, a Gabriela Hearst bag, Irene Neuwirth jewels, an Armani blazer and Golden Goose Deluxe Brand ‘Superstar’ sneakers.

Variety Party: Opting for heels for the first time during the day, Naomi took things up a notch wearing a Valentino Resort 2019 dress. I love the boho relaxed vibe and the sparkling embellishment which gives this a luxe feel.

Angela Sarafyan In Baukjen – Out In LA

Angela Sarafyan In Baukjen - Out In LA

‘Westworld’ actress Angela Sarafyan was spotted out in Beverly Hills on Friday (August 17), proving that her street-style is just as lust-worthy as her red carpet style.

A cotton shirt dress makes for the perfect sartorial antidote to a hot summer’s day, so Angela sported a chic Baukjen ‘Marley’ dress styled with Stuart Weitzman ankle strap heels for her shopping trip.

The French Riviera calls for seafaring stripes, but this look works just as well on Rodeo Drive.

Blake Lively In Brunello Cucinelli – 2018 MTV VMAs

Blake Lively was spotted in leaving Radio City Music Hall following her guest appearance at the 2018 MTV VMAs on Monday (August 20), wearing another suit.

Having seen the trailer for ‘A Simple Favor,’ it’s safe to say she is paying homage to her suit-wearing-character ‘Emily.’

Having sent you guys into meltdown following her Brunello Cucinelli look last week, she opted to wear the Italian label again, this time styling her velvet white suit with a striped pinstripe vest, and white button down shirt plus silver glitter brogues to offset the vest and jewels.

This, and her Vivienne Westwood suits feel the most relaxed from her marathon run, but the Versace still stands out as my clear favourite.

Blake Lively In Vivienne Westwood & Sonia Rykiel – VMAs Rehearsals

Blake Lively In Vivienne Westwood - VMAs Rehearsals

Before the 2018 MTV VMAs, Blake Lively wore another one of her menswear-inspired looks while returning from rehearsals in New York City on Monday (August 20).

The actress, who has been promoting her upcoming movie ‘A Simple Favor,’ had spent the weekend in impeccably tailored neon green and pastel plaid ensembles, opted for a Vivienne Westwood Fall 2018 soft violet hemp canvas tailored suit with frayed lapels and an oversized Sonia Rykiel white shirt.

She styled her look with Christian Louboutin ‘Crapadonna’ brown and white leather brogue with stud detailing, barely-there makeup and no jewels.

Even though this is very much an off-duty look, I have a feeling that the reception to this will be stone cold.

Or maybe you prefer this more laidback approach, as many had said her weekend looks were too contrived.

My first reaction was “what the…?” But then I realised that it was only the drop-crotch nature of the trousers I objected to.
