Celine Dion Takes Leather Dressing to Another Level
Celine Dion was spotted leaving her hotel in Paris today ahead of her residency, as she approaches the final three dates of 2026 before the shows resume in May 2027.
Today’s look hails from, you guessed it, the Spring 2027 collections. At this point, it seems Celine is exclusively wearing pieces straight from next season’s runways, and I’m certainly not complaining.
This time, she opted for a Tom Ford Spring 2027 leather officer jacket featuring phantom technique detailing, paired with a matching leather pencil skirt. The cropped jacket, with its exaggerated lapels and military-inspired structure, gives the look plenty of attitude, while the fitted skirt keeps the silhouette sleek.
Now, I know some of you are looking at our fearless fashion favourite and wondering whether she’s left her hotel without a top underneath that jacket. And I won’t lie, the thought crossed my mind too. But Celine is wearing the same black sculptural, pleated strapless bra-style top we saw on the runway, although it’s almost completely concealed beneath the jacket.
What I particularly love is how the leather-on-leather combination has an almost dominatrix-inspired edge, but the military tailoring gives it a more sophisticated finish. And while the runway styling leaned into that provocative mood, Celine’s accessories – Tom Ford’s leather double ankle-strap pumps, the Tom Ford MIA bag and Penn sunglasses – make the look feel more suited to an afternoon in Paris.
The only thing I’m not sold on is the footwear. You know how I feel about ankle straps with midi-length skirts, and the double straps aren’t helping matters here. A sleek pair of pumps without the straps would have been my preference.
