Gemma Chan Reminds Us There’s More to Burberry Than Trench Coats

Gemma Chan was spotted heading to the launch of MÁNO × MNRL at Soho Mews House last week, during the London Film Festival, where she presented her film Josephine.

After opening her festival with a colourful Dries Van Noten look, Gemma switched gears for the evening, opting for something more understated from Burberry.

The British fashion house is best known for its outerwear, something its star-studded front row at London Fashion Week recently reminded us of. But Daniel Lee’s eveningwear deserves just as much attention, and Gemma’s latest look makes a convincing argument for it.

I’m glad she opted for the beige version of this Burberry Fall 2026 satin dress, as the lighter shade allows the scarf detailing and cascading tassels to stand out far more than they did on the runway.

A matching clutch and copper sandals completed her look.
