Zendaya’s Halloween Tribute to Halle Berry Is a Fashion Flashback
When Zendaya unveiled her new pixie cut at the Emmys, we all said how much the hairstyle reminded us of Halle Berry.

So what better way to celebrate Halloween than to channel the woman herself?

Zendaya recreated Halle Berry‘s look from the July 2000 Los Angeles premiere of X-Men, wearing the same Lanvin Fall 2000 ensemble, styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach.
From the yellow, white and silver geometric print to the crystal embellishments, tinted sunglasses and, of course, the pixie cut, the attention to detail is what makes this recreation so fabulous.
I also love that Zendaya and Law chose to revisit a fashion moment from Halle’s early red carpet days. It’s a look that deserves to be remembered, and seeing it recreated 26 years later is such a treat. Of all the looks they could have chosen, I love that they went with something this playful.
What makes it even better is how fresh the ensemble still looks today. Nothing about the print, the silhouette or the styling feels dated, which says a lot about the original design and how well Zendaya wears it.
Zendaya and Law have given us so many memorable fashion moments over the years, and this one feels particularly special for anyone who remembers Halle wearing the original.
Stylist: Law Roach.
