Lisa Goes All-In on Red for the MTV VMAs

Lisa attended the 2026 MTV VMAs, where she is nominated for Best K-Pop for Born Again alongside Doja Cat and RAYE.

The singer made quite the entrance on the red carpet wearing a dramatic Quine Li faux-fur coat over a red corseted dress from The Attico.

The dress is beautiful, but would it have made enough of a statement on its own? Maybe, maybe not. This is the VMAs, after all, so adding the oversized red coat with its sweeping train made sense for an event where a little drama is practically part of the dress code.

I’m also glad Lisa didn’t wear the matching faux-fur dress seen in the Quine Li lookbook. With the volume of the coat already doing so much, adding another heavily textured piece underneath would have overwhelmed her. The Attico corset and skirt gave the look a sleeker base and allowed the coat to remain the focal point.

I also love how committed she was to the red colour story, carrying it through to her pointed pumps and even the red detail wrapped around her topknot. It tied everything together without competing with that coat.
