Sienna Miller Goes From Balmain to Vintage for ‘The Tonight Show’
Sienna Miller’s press tour for War has been a fascinating one, because the actress, who has been the poster girl for boho chic for decades, has shelved that aesthetic entirely.
We have seen her flirt with different styles before. The two Schiaparelli moments for Vogue World and the Cannes Film Festival photocall spring to mind, but then she will just as quickly return to boho glamour in Chloé for the Met Gala and the Horizon: An American Saga Cannes premiere.
But we are few looks in and continue to be in uncharted territory, with two more looks arriving as Sienna made her way to the NBC Studios for a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

First up was a look from Balmain’s Fall 2026 collection.
I love how the look speaks to the slightly edgier direction we have seen from Sienna on this tour, but some might be thrown by the leather jacket, specifically the shoulders. You will either find them overwhelming on someone so petite and feel that someone like Jodie Turner-Smith would have the commanding presence to carry that exaggerated shape, or appreciate seeing Sienna push herself this far outside what we have come to associate with her. I fall into the latter camp.
There is also an interesting piece of history behind the jacket. Featuring an asymmetrical front fastening and structured shoulders, the design draws inspiration from the 1975 Air France uniform created by Pierre Balmain for the airline’s first female aviator.

The arrival look would have worked perfectly for the sit-down with the host, but Sienna changed into a vintage Lou Reed 1989 tour T-shirt and vintage Levi’s jeans.
I love that she went this casual, sidestepping the expected late-night LBD in favour of something with more personality. The look also continues the unexpected direction that has made this press tour so interesting.
She kept the same Jude the Brand Mixer sandals, while an updo and statement necklace dressed up the vintage combination just enough for television.
