Zoe Saldana Wore Magda Butrym On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Zoe Saldana made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the actress spoke about becoming an Oscar winner, working with Taylor Sheridan on Lioness and the real reason she learned Italian.

For the occasion, she wore a Magda Butrym Resort 2027 off-the-shoulder ruched white dress.

Considering how underwhelmed I was by her déjà vu Balmain dress for the Lioness premiere, this got me back on side. Some might feel the black underlayer distracts from the draping, but I think it creates a stronger visual contrast and helps define the ruching.

As gorgeous as those black lace Aquazzura Mon Amour pumps are, I’m glad they were only her travelling shoes.

The white Aquazzura Gisele pumps she changed into on set worked so much better. I talk a lot about footwear, and this was another reminder of how a shoe can completely change the feel of an outfit. The black lace pumps made the look feel heavier, while the white pair kept everything light and cohesive.

Cartier jewels completed her look.

I only wish she had saved this for the Lioness premiere and worn the Balmain on the late-night show instead. After all, a black dress feels much more at home on a late-night show than on a summer premiere red carpet.
