Zendaya Wore Tamara Ralph Couture To The ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ London Premiere

I really did think the Spider-Man: Brand New Day New York premiere was the natural conclusion of this press tour. With Zendaya’s interpretation of a spider in haute couture, it felt like the perfect closing chapter.

But Zendaya stepped onto the red carpet once again this evening for the London premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.

We’ve seen a predominance of black throughout this press tour, leading some fans to speculate that this could be the end of her character. Personally, I’ve always felt it was a deliberate way to distinguish this campaign from The Odyssey, where her wardrobe embraced a much lighter, more goddess-inspired aesthetic.

So, seeing her emerge in this Tamara Ralph Fall 2026 Couture gown immediately brought those The Odyssey references back into view. The white strapless silhouette, traced with delicate gold bugle-bead embellishment extending over the shoulders like soft cape sleeves, has an ethereal quality that feels much closer to that earlier press tour, especially when paired with the softer makeup and the return of her longer hair.

What struck me most is how the colour story appears to mirror the end of The Odyssey press tour. Zendaya closed that campaign by transitioning from white into gold, and here we’re seeing those same two shades working together in a single look. At the same time, she’s moved from a press tour dominated by black into white, making it feel as though the two campaigns are beginning to converge.

I was convinced New York marked the finale, so I’m reluctant to call this the closing chapter.

One detail that wasn’t immediately visible from the front was the jewelled spider accenting the back of the gown. Created by Keren Wolf, the piece serves as one final nod to Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but it also has a fascinating history, having originally been designed as part of a spiderweb headpiece before being repurposed for Zendaya’s look.

As much as I’ve enjoyed Zendaya’s shorter hairstyle during this press tour, my preference has always been her longer hair. This gown called for softness, and the loose waves complement it perfectly.
