Zendaya And Tom Holland Keep The ‘Spider-Man’ Theme Going
On Thursday, Zendaya and Tom Holland attended the Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios photocall for Spider-Man: Brand New Day following the premiere.
While this press tour has embraced darker tones at times, this Coach Resort 2027 look felt lighter without abandoning the film’s signature colour palette.
Zendaya wore a vibrant red shirt tucked into navy tailored trousers, finished with a slim silver tie that gave the look a playful, borrowed-from-the-boys attitude.
I love how the colours echoed the Prada look Tom Holland wore to the New York photocall the week before. It was a smart way to keep the visual conversation between their looks going without veering into Posh-and-Becks-style coordination.
As expected, she completed the look with white Christian Louboutin pumps. This time, however, she stepped away from her beloved So Kate silhouette in favour of the Miss Z. At first glance, the two styles look almost identical, but there are notable differences.
The So Kate features a 120 mm heel with an extremely steep pitch and a long, narrow toe, whereas the Miss Z has an 80 mm heel, a less aggressive angle and a slightly roomier pointed toe. It delivers the same sleek finish while being a far more wearable shoe. With this being the second consecutive appearance for the Miss Z, I have to wonder if this signals the beginning of a gradual shift away from the So Kate after years of unwavering loyalty.
Tom Holland, meanwhile, continued his affection for brown tailoring in another Prada suit. I’m not sold on the red-and-navy striped tie with this particular suit, but I appreciate how it tied into Zendaya’s Coach look and nodded to the franchise’s colour story.
For me, the tie would have worked far better with a black or navy suit. What do you think?
