Kara Wai & Jiang Qiming Wore Loewe To The 2026 Weibo Film’s Night

Brand Ambassadors Kara Wai and Jiang Qiming represented Loewe by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at the 2026 Weibo Film Night in Shanghai on Saturday.

Two ambassadors, two very different interpretations of the new Loewe direction.

The Art Of Contrast

Kara Wai wore a Loewe Fall 2026 look that feels like several disparate elements brought together: an orange turtleneck, an oversized yellow-and-black knit, and a dramatic textured skirt with an elongated train. On paper, it sounds like a combination that shouldn’t work, yet somehow it does.

It is the sort of styling mix that only really makes sense at a house like Loewe, where unexpected combinations are often part of the appeal.

As unusual as the look is, Kara sold it effortlessly. At no point does it feel like the outfit is wearing her.

Loewe Origami Cubic pumps completed her look.

Sharp Direction

Jiang Qiming took a more restrained approach by comparison, wearing a Loewe peak-lapel double-breasted suit. The yellow side stripes running down the trousers subtly connect his look to the same colour story seen throughout the Fall 2026 collection.

The result is modern tailoring that feels relaxed without losing presence. The oversized proportions keep it aligned with the house’s current aesthetic, while the clean styling allows the silhouette to do the work.

While Kara’s look was all about visual impact, Jiang’s outfit offered a quieter version of Loewe’s aesthetic. It is clean, contemporary and confident in its simplicity, but together they offer a clear snapshot of the breadth of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s vision for the house.
