Ayo Edebiri Wore Chanel To ‘The Bear’ Final Family Meal Event

Ahead of the fifth and final season of The Bear, which premieres on FX on June 25, the cast gathered for what was billed as the show’s “final family meal” event in Los Angeles on Monday evening.

Ayo Edebiri attended wearing a custom Chanel dress inspired by Matthieu Blazy’s Fall 2026 collection.

From the front, it felt light, easy and perfectly suited to a summer premiere. The pale blue tone added to that breezy quality, while the simplicity of the silhouette allowed the craftsmanship to remain the focus.

The back, however, is where the look truly came alive. The feathered floral embellishment placed across the open back transformed what could have been a straightforward slip dress into something far more memorable. It’s an unexpected detail that gives the design character.

The only element that doesn’t quite work for me is the hair. The flipped-out layers and shape are giving me 1980s news anchor. With such a fresh and delicate dress, I found myself wishing for something softer to complement the mood of the look.
