The Jennifer Lopez ‘Office Romance’ Looks We Haven’t Talked About Yet
The press tour for Office Romance has officially wrapped, and while we have already covered the major premiere appearances, there were several looks from press junkets, television appearances and Jennifer Lopez’s own social media posts that deserve a closer look.

My immediate thought was ’80s power dressing when I saw Jennifer in this ivory satin blouse, thanks to the exaggerated shoulders. Then the Viktor & Rolf trousers entered the conversation and shifted the look somewhere else entirely. The multi-layered construction feels contemporary, making this less of a nostalgic throwback and more of a remix of familiar references.

The individual pieces are interesting, but I’m not convinced they belong in the same outfit. There is a disconnect between the top and bottom halves.
Christian Louboutin Daffodile pumps completed her look.

New York Press Junket
I adore this bordeaux leather coat from the Tom Ford Fall 2025 collection. We first saw this coat on Teyana Taylor back in January, which felt like the ideal seasonal setting.
Jennifer took a different approach, leaning fully into the monochromatic story with matching boots, a coordinating Hermès Birkin and Robert Marc eyewear.
The proportions are slightly challenging. The coat either feels a touch oversized or cinched too tightly at the waist. Yet there is something admirable about the commitment to the colour story. When you’re going this deep into a single shade, hesitation isn’t an option.

Watch What Happens Live
I didn’t understand this Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2026 look, and that largely comes down to the styling.
The white ruffled dress felt perfectly suited to the softer, romantic tone that ran through much of this press tour. The problem arrives with the black double-breasted jacket, horrendous platform shoes and Dolce & Gabbana Mini Marlene Day bag. Together, they create a visual clash that leaves the outfit feeling pulled in two different directions.
Separately, I can appreciate each piece. Together, they never quite find common ground.

Back in March, Anya Taylor-Joy debuted this Balmain by Antonin Tron look while promoting The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, with Jennifer giving it a second outing during her own press tour.
What makes this comparison interesting is how differently each woman approached the same design.
Anya cropped the top and paired it with strappy sandals, giving it a younger, lighter feel. Jennifer raised the waistline of the leopard-print skirt, added a David Webb statement necklace and completed the look with black Hardot More pumps.
The result feels more glamorous and more aligned with Jennifer’s personal style. It’s the same Balmain look, yet each woman found a completely different way to make it her own.

While my first thought was, “Shame about the inevitable creases,” I love seeing Jennifer in softer hues. She ensured that the Anna October cardigan didn’t feel too prim by leaving enough buttons undone, introducing a touch of sensuality that felt entirely in keeping with her style.
Gianvito Rossi mules completed her look.
