Celebrities at the ‘Fast & Furious’ Cannes Film Festival Screening
The Fast & Furious 25th anniversary midnight screening took place during the Cannes Film Festival, with Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Meadow Walker stepping onto the red carpet for the celebration.

Train Of Thought
Michelle Rodriguez is a Cannes regular who almost always delivers when it comes to gowns, and this Paolo Sebastian Fall 2025 strapless embellished design was no exception. The sculpted corsetry, crystal detailing, and sweeping tulle train brought the kind of high-impact glamour Cannes red carpets thrive on. Unfortunately, the beauty styling once again failed to rise to the level of the dress. The gown was operating at full Cannes fantasy, while the hair and makeup were giving, just completed a 40 minute Hyrox AMRAP.

Cavalli After Dark
Jordana Brewster had another choker moment, but this time it worked seamlessly alongside her black Roberto Cavalli Fall 2026 dress. There was a time when Cavalli and Cannes were practically inseparable, and this look tapped directly into that legacy with unapologetic sex appeal. The sheer lace panelling running through the gown naturally draws the eye, while the textured appliqué front panel prevented the look from feeling one-note. My only issue? PVC strap underwear is never as invisible as you would hope.

Ruffle Effect
I continue to be fascinated by how much more visible Alaïa has become on the red carpet recently than it ever was during Pieter Mulier’s tenure at the house. Meadow Walker’s Alaïa Fall 2026 look by Pieter Mulier leaned into the label’s sculptural approach through a ribbed knit halter top and asymmetrical ruffled skirt in a chartreuse shade, helping to differentiate it from Hannah Einbinder’s black Alaïa look earlier in the day. This stood apart from the sea of gowns usually dominating Cannes premieres, and I ain’t mad at that.
