Harper's BAZAAR Celebrates 'ICONS By Carine Roitfeld'

The glam guest list of models, music royalty, and more was almost impossibly long for Harper’s BAZAAR’s celebration of ‘ICONS by Carine Roitfeld’ during New York Fashion Week on Friday (September 7).

Sara Sampaio: The model shone wore a scintillating sequin Maison Alexandrine gown with Christian Louboutin heels and bombshell waves.

Cardi B: Extravagance is generally the singer’s middle name, and especially so in this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2018 extravaganza of ruffles and jewels.

Leona Lewis In Paolo Sebastian Couture – 2018 National Memorial Day Concert

Three-time Grammy Award-nominee singer/songwriter Leona Lewis performed at the 2018 National Memorial Day Concert at U.S. Capitol, West Lawn on Saturday (May 27) in Washington, DC.

After a few experimental looks with Marc Jacobs and Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture, it was back to a more fairy tale like look courtesy of Paolo Sebastian’s Spring 2018 Couture collection.

Imagined in a strapless design, her statement making gown with an all-over sequined finish shimmers stunningly as she moved.

While I love seeing her stepping out of her comfort-zone from time to time, this style of look is where she excels.

Julia Michaels In Paolo Sebastian Couture – 2018 ACM Awards

Prior to performing with Keith Urban, Julia Michaels stepped out on the blue carpet at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) in Las Vegas, Nevada, joining Kelsea Ballerini and Miranda Lambert.

The singer had an ethereal moment in a Paolo Sebastian Spring 2017 Couture dress.

Brimming with embroidery, the pastel blue frock had a fairy tale quality one normally expects from full-length gowns.

The shorter hemline and open neckline added some allure and tie in the sheer sleeves.

If I must nitpick, I wish her skirt had the flare of the runway version. On the red carpet, it doesn’t have quite the same volume.

Giuseppe Zanotti Amelia sandals increased the whimsical feeling.

Julia Michaels In Paolo Sebastian Couture – 2018 Grammy Awards

Julia Michaels had her princess moment at the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 28) in New York City, where she joined Pink and Hailee Steinfeld.

The Best New Artist nominee can flit between sportswear and unabashed romantic dresses, and this Paolo Sebastian Spring 2017 Couture gown definitely falls into the latter category.

With tufts of lilac tulle and butterfly embellishment, it could have been saccharine but the plunging neckline and open sides balanced the sweetness.

Her sharply cut bob and Chopard jewels added further edge.

Not to be missed was her flower hand tattoo that had been painted white to show solidarity with the #TimesUp movement.

Kerry Washington In Paolo Sebastian – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Kerry Washington also graced the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

The actress wore a Fall 2016 Paolo Sebastian gown with various jewels from Graziela Gems, Effy Jewelry and EF Collection.

This gown is such a statement, and looks beautiful on Kerry. The embroidery is both fun and elegant, and of course, the presence of print makes her stand out from her red carpet peers.

I love the shorter hemline, though I wish that it was a bit shorter on Kerry, as we see at the runway presentation, as that tea length is such perfection.

The ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ ponytail as I love to call it is making a big return to the scene this season, and it is fierce on the actress. Her berry lip is the perfect complement to the gown.
